These days it seems that painting contractors in Sydney and tradespeople in general are only willing to work with you if you are worth their time, very few of the top tier companies seem interested in taking smaller residential jobs.
In my experience, even P1C were quite sceptical and sometimes rude in the early stages, to make sure I wasn't a time waster, but after the initial phone conversation things were smooth sailing.
