We stayed at Breakfree Marcolla. The location is great - right on the beach and the apartments were well maintained and had everything we needed. There is a heated pool, tennis, putting circle. Although it is near the Sunshine Coast airport, you wouldn't know it. A quiet, friendly resort.

We ordered our pizzas. When we went to pick them up they had forgotten one pizza. We had to wait and so they did give us a free bottle of Coke but then when we got home, they were not the pizzas we had ordered. We had two upset children with no ham and pineapple pizza.

The Aztec has mexican food of a great standard. We find it better than Montezumas and the Coolongatta restaurant is very friendly and well serviced. The meals are good value and extremely delicious.

The food was fantastic as is the view. Sitting upstairs, you look straight onto the beach. Good service as well. I have been several times and each time am impressed by the service but especially the food.
