This review is for Zarraffa's Coffee, Redcliffe QLD

For something different we decided to try this busy little Zarraffa`s cafe outside of the Coles complex. It was always full and pumping, so we ordered a chicken & mushroom filo plus a tall cappucino each.

Never again, the filos were heated way before the coffee, not that they were cold, but nothing else was served with it but for some reason, a little squeeze tub of tomato sauce, really? My napkin had dirty fingermarks of what I will assume was the chocolate they put on top of the coffees-I hope.

The filo was very hot but the filling was so full of thickener it screamed fake gelatinous crud and there was no scent of chicken or mushroom, just slop. For about $7 it was rubbish.

I watched as the tall young chap seemed to get confused by his screen and gone were the names called for order but just orders yelled out and hope you were listening. We were sitting close to the ready area, so hubby went up and we explained to the guy about how they were ours as they had been sitting there 5 minutes, our drinks were then pretty much right after.

Some people were coming back with wrong drinks and what looked like the manager had proceeded to sit with friends/family behind us while the place was packed.

A pre-ready urn of froth had been made and it was originally looked to be for the baby cinos, scraped onto the top of the tiny cups and sprinkled with chocolate. then when hubby grabbed our cinos, I asked him, what the hell is this. A lame blot of wadded up froth resembled it had been whacked on part of the top. The flavour, sorry, what flavour, I had a lovely hot cup of milk, I couldn`t taste the coffee at all! Whether we were skimping, a mistake or the regular barista was now sitting behind us, well, who cares, as a first experience, it will be our last. We left the coffees to show how rubbish it was.

This little shop does a good business with the patrons of the Redcliffe lagoon across the road and you can be fighting for a seat. Totally recommend the fresh chicken and salad sandwich. I believe they cook the chicken and slice it themselves, REAL chicken breast & its just the best thing after sun & fun at the lagoon. Yummy chocolate thickshakes & shakes, reasonably priced food. Friendly, you get all the bells and whistles with your fish & chips, lovely lady personally offered us quarters of lemon from a bucket she`d done up, salt, pepper, napkins, cutlery too, great family run business.

Never have I tasted a butter chicken as delicious as Bombay Bliss Albany Creek. Every single time it is an absolute delight with a good serving of the chicken meat & the cheese and spinach naan is just special, YUM.

I have however been less than delighted with a lot of their other mains, the taste is bland and quite watery, not enough substance, so we have decided to never order any other menu item besides our faves. On a brighter note their Tandoori Chicken whole is scrummy if you`re after something you can get your hands on.

Order ahead and early, they get quite muddled when busy and often stuff up orders, have been the victim and seen many more have to come back with the wrong order or things missing.

On entry it is amazing how large this hardware is and the friendliness was overwhelming. Everyone said G`day like they genuinely wanted to welcome you. The variety is awesome and if you`re after plants, find something different here. Just loved the atmosphere and definately a preference over Bunnings, less clogged.

Have tried many a coffee club and the food for initiative, variety and flavour, this one so far is the best. They have special menus, recently an Asian theme, including a dessert chef has concocted. The salmon regular meal I would almost kill for, always absolutely delicious and filling. Don`t throw away those shopper dockets, give this one a go and you won`t regret it.

They do need to be a bit more consistent with service, water up front for one.

This little shop has gone through a few changes but has settled I think on what she does best, burgers with a healthier base. You can get multigrain, not just white and homemade rissoles 97% fat free, loads of lush salad, all the trimmings, choice of many sauces & condiments and the prices are great. One of the nicest ladies around, finally gets some time off she can employ gals to help now, well done!

You get these groovy HUGE bowl cups if you want a large coffee and it is delicious, never burnt, always an even coffee flavour with the milk. Family run business, opens super early and you can order ahead. Make a lot of their own coffee accompaniments, try their homemade baklava.

Stunning quaint little shop in amidst of the Westfield Chermside shopping complex, next to the Woolworths, you can sit in, out, on lounges or in the middle, people watch on replica antique chairs, full marks for atmosphere!

The coffee can come in these massive handle-less bowls if you REALLY want a large coffee. Very novel and not once have I had a burnt or bad coffee, it is always perfect and the service has always been prompt. Beware, it gets busy at most times, so if you see a spare chair, nab it QUICKLY.

Friendly staff and the best dressing I have tasted on a salad EVER, never too much. They do their best to present it well, quickly and tasty food. Lots of variety in meals and afters, great coffee, never burnt. Prices are reasonable, just do yourself a favour and try that salad dressing!

Always recommend this dentist to anyone, my family has been seeing Dr David Stephenson for more than a decade without complaint. Has always had my comfort priority where he has recommended the 'zing' instead of wasting my time and money on numbing up if possible, in depth explanations and those old records on the ceiling certainly keep you distracted. GENTLE is always the largest concern with dentists, Dr Stephenson and his hygienist are worth their weight in gold.
