I've been here a number of times now and each time have found staff very friendly and helpful. The staff in the garden centre are also very knowledgeable. I love the fact that if something you buy goes on sale within a month of purchase they will price match.

My husband bought a blower vac a few months back from Masters, with the guarantee of a replacement if anything goes wrong with it. Just last week it started cutting out or not kicking in and there was obviously something wrong with the switch mechanism. So we took it back to Masters, with the original docket...and there the saga began. We were told we needed to contact the manufacturer (which I think they should do) and get some sort of coupon from them for replacement. We did that but now we have been told that we need to go to Morayfield to have the item assessed. I think the hope is that the whole process is too drawn out and you will just give up and buy a new item.
We also bought a whipper snipper from them at the same time as we bought the blower vac, but have had no end of trouble getting replacement line for it. We go to the store and it's never in stock so we have to order it. At this stage we have been waiting over a month for the line to come in.
I think we might stick with Bunnings from now on.

I have to say I expected more when I heard they had built this enormous store in North Lakes. I found them lacking in customer service, because the person I spoke to didn't even know if they had the product. I looked around, and compared the value to my usual store. I am not getting anything here unless it's on sale and my store won't match the price. Very disappointing. Even hubby looked mad when we left! I did buy something, or try to! I used the self service checkout and the computer didn't recognise the barcode! Not very good in my book. They do have plenty of parking, but it doesn't make up for the service or cost.

There's one near us now too - got it's own built in Maccas restaurant. I've found it a bit lacking too. Just proves that bigger isn't better.

when you walk in you will be amazed at the size of the different departments and the range of some items i brought a few items both large and small
i would not recomend calling to see if they have any items in stock as it is a call center in melbourne and they will tell you that they should have stock

Fantastic we started going here when it opened close to home, rather than other company further away. Young happy vibrant staff always happy to assist, crazy low pices. Big store close to shopping centre, easy access and good parking.

its hard to find a good hardware store and when you do you have to know that the staff know their products and where you can find what you need the prices are just as competitive as most hardware stores and they are easy to find in the northlakes shopping area

After hearing all the hype about a new hardware store in the area I when to the store to buy some bathroom fittings, staff knowledge of products left a lot to be desired, pricing was at the top end of the scale and to add insult to the experience there was no counter staff, it was self serve. this style of retail is not for me, I will not be shopping there again.

they have a large range and as all employees are new they are incredibly helpful - we have bought a large range of products over the few months that Masters has been in Northlakes as it is convenient and they have everything

I love the fact that you can easily find a park, and whatever you are looking for here. They have a huge variety of hardware, gardening and outdoor stock. They sell BBQs and outdoor settings too. We checked out the lighting area, and found it to be okay, about average. We purchased a few hardware items, and used the self service checkout. It was easy to negotiate the store, and they had little trolleys for the toddlers and kids. It's pretty much like a big warehouse and very easy to find, as it's right behind North Lakes Shopping Centre. I recommend you take your time, and check everythingout so you know whether they stock what you need. A great addition to the shopping centre!
