They are having big problems at the moment with points not being credited, rewards not being paid out ... the works. Hopefully they'll get it sorted but I'd leave it for a month or so before joining.
I've been a member since August and just got my first payout of $34.20 ($35USD). I might get on invitation every couple of weeks but all of the decent money ones are closed. A lot of 50cent ones. It's there and they don't take long when you do get through.
This has become the drinks after work on a friday choice after plenty of searching (ok...pub crawls!) the girls and I have settled in. Admittedly we all have to leave by 7 so have no idea what it's like later but a couple of drinks and shared pizza and plates of chips finishes the weekv off nicely
I was on my way back from Katoomba and called in for dinner. It's a lovely club. Had dinner at Kelly's. I had the surf burger and it was delicious, very filling. My partner had the tandoori chicken burger and declared himself well sated! They have a theme most nights and we were there on a Thursday ... burger night. Well worth a visit.
Approximate cost: $15
Went there with the "gut-busters" ( ie: we'd all just given birth!) from my ante-natal class. What a great place. Lovely meals and very fancy for a club. This was a lovely place for a reunion and a great time was had by all.
I went there with some friends about 3 months ago. We were the only ones in the place. yet it still took 40 minutes for our meals to com out. My steak wasn't medium rare as ordered but burnt. We left after complaining and were given the excuse that someone had callen in sick! They refused to even refund the steak meal. Will not be returning
When I first moved to Sydney I knew no one. I joined this club and it became a weekly tradition to go for dinner, pokies and a drink. Lovely, friendly staff and the bistro was always reliable, if not a bit old fashioned. Made a few friends, too and I still have my 10yr membership card, 6 years later.
I've srtayed here twice now. The first about 6 years ago and the second a 5 night stay over the Christmas period. Rooms are lovely and clean, kids loved (and lived in!) the pool area. It has a lovely tropical feel. We walked up to Pacific fair a couple of times to stock up on Groceries. It was very relaxing. I think it was about $700 for the 5 nights.
My computer crashed last September and Kent was so quick to act. He took the hard drive home and rescued all of my data before installing it into a new one. The new one was also an upgrade so he patiently described the differences between the two. He's a godsend when it comes to computer rescuers and at $60 p.h definitely the cheapest
Andrew installed two air conditining units for me last year. I had bought them from Clive Anthonys and was referred to Andrew for instillation. The thing that really impressed me was that he looked at the receipt for the two that I had bought, but not yet collected, and told me to downsive the lounge one because at that size it would have to have a lot more electrical work (ie. Its own circuit) and I didn't need that big a unit. He saved me $320 through following his advice and they both work perfectly. He even came out, on his own time, to discuss the job before starting. He was on time and cleaned up well before he left. Nice guy and I would highly reccomend him.
