I live in a small community 30klms south west of Echuca, 5 of my 11 granddaughters live in Melbourne outer east suburbs, there is no greater treat than for them to visit and we go to Beechworth for Breakfast as according to them everything is perfect, and they are right of course.

coming home from the Hospital in Rochester my daughter and I picked up an injured tortoise on the side of the road. We contacted every Vet we could find between Bendigo and Echuca and all we kept getting asked was who was going to pay for the consultation and any work. I had contacted wires who were also trying tolocate someone. Last ditch I contacted Rochester Vet. Not only did the Vet come to my home town, 30 minutes away, but there was no uestion of payment, sadly he did have to euthanase (s) the tortoise. I know which Vet I will be going to now, and he was such alovely person as was th lady I spoke to. This was on a Saturday afternoonto boot.
