I had Sam for Sydney city kitchens redo the kitchen and pantry in my 1950's fibro home.

He really took the time initially to understand what we wanted and where we wanted everything placed. We went through every detail, changing most things off the plan.

The guys turned up and our 1950's fibro house had unsquare corners, a sagging wall and we had not run powerpoints yet.

Everything went fine. All the little dramas they just took care of. They printed a handle for the rangehood, looked at how it fitted, realised that it was 5mm too short and reprinted one to the correct fit.

They fixed everything and the kitchen looks WOW. I have a $10,000 kitchen for $6500

Approximate cost: $6500

Had a blocked drain, gave Terry a call. Two things that stood out, he asked me where my drains were located and he quoted the cheapest price. Turned up within an hour once he completed his current job. Drain cleared quickly. Very good experience.

-- To distingush this plumber from others. He is friendly and decent, more on the budget "ill fix your problem" then "here is a fancy video camera of all your sewage, etc".

I went there once needing a certificate. I had a very through but professional examination by the doctor there. I have never been checked so throughlyand they identified a mouth coulsour that was possibly causing my cold. They bulk billed and provided extreemly good service. If they were closer I would always go back.

This review is for Eagle Tyres, Granville NSW

Eagle is fantastic. I rang around for a competitive quote, they were as low as the lowest quotes I could get. But when I pulled up I could see that they were professional and knowledgeable. They recommended slightly wider tyres for my station wagon, which is what I wanted to hear. I wanted an expert opinion who could tell me what tyre I needed and why. They know their stuff, are friendly and are good to do business with.

The only negative was the waiting room was ordinary. They had great free coffee packets, it was clean but not many magazines and only a TV. But they were fast (35-40 minutes) and I was happy on my smartphone.

My car drives so much better now, Go Eagle Tyres they know their stuff and won't charge you extra for doing a job right.

Approximate cost: $340

This review is for TPG Internet, North Ryde NSW

I love TPG and it is for me. Cheap broadband and usually pretty fast.

However: A friend recently tried to connect. They were told that it would take 1 month to connect:( Eventually 1.5 months later they jumped to optus. To be fair to TPG, telstra manages the exchange, Telstra screwed around with the ext. So be careful and be prepared.

Blue Phoenix were the best choice for my wedding.

We had 120 guests and hired out a hall with a basic kitchen. The Menu was largely Seafood, having said that most guests were westerners and EVERYONE loved it.

The food was fantastic. By fantastic I mean people commenting directly saying "this food is the best wedding food I have had". Everything fresh, large variety, all vegetarians/gluten allergies/no pork/no beef all looked after individually. So many of our Guests said that the food was amazingly good and everything I ate, I loved. It was healthy food, nothing too greezy, all their suggestions were great.

As far as being prepared for a wedding. They were, we had no idea. Every service or recommendation offered by them was so much cheaper then any quote I could get. Everything organised by or with Blue Phoenix worked on the day.

They were organised, passionate, helpful, on time and Outstandingly good value and I will recommend them for any function.

Approximate cost: $30-35

This review is for Bond Fridge Seals, Brisbane QLD

verified email - 16 Feb 2013

He was on time, levelled the fridge doors so that they sit cleanly on the fridge and re-sealed the broken seal on our door.

I was going to try it myself. I could not have done as good a job as he. Well worth spending the $120

Approximate cost: $60
