Have been here a couple of times, although just tried their coffee just once. I have been a big fan of their huge variety of desserts, I love their Cannoli. Although a bit pricy but it tastes yum.
This coffee shop is right across the Chemistry building and infact it is named after the first Chemistry graduate from UNSW. They serve nice coffee and I like the sitting space outside the cafe on wooden benches. Sandwiches are good but expensive.
Great place on campus. Have been there a few times specially for farewell, group lunch, evening drinks. They serve great pizza. Nice place to chill and relax on campus.
Approximate cost: $10-15
Have been here a couple of times and have always been greeted with a smile. The prices are a bit expensive but the food is amazing and the ambiance of the place is great. Good place to hang out with friends.
Approximate cost: $15-20
This is a good coffee place for students and staff and specially good for a quick snack and catch -up with friends. It is conveniently located for those who have classes around law building. Staff is friendly.
I usually get cakes for birthdays from here as it is close to uni and it is convenient for last minute birthday ideas. The cakes are not the best ones but it is good for the location.
My French friend introduced me to Croquembouche Patisserie when I was looking to get some good cake for my friends birthday. I was spoiled for choice when I visited the store. With the assistance of the friendly staff I managed to decide on buying the cake Opera. That was the best cake that I have ever tasted in my life, everyone at the party praised it and wanted details of the cake shop. Ever since that day, this has been my favourite place for a cake fix.
I was on my routine trip to coles when I passed by this newly opened outlet La Boulangerie and the pleasant display of the bread, croissants and macarons just made me stop by and have a look. I was tempted to buy the croissants and I loved the way the lady at the counter was explaining about their different products. They were one of the best croissants I have ever tasted.
I like their curries and naan. So aromatic and freshly made. Every time I eat it, it reminds me of my mum`s curry, authentic Indian taste. I go there whenever I don`t have time to cook, food much better than the other Indian restaurant.
Approximate cost: $10
I stayed there on my trip to Melbourne and it was a nice and clean hotel. They upgraded me to a better room for free. It has a very convenient location as it is just 2 mins from Southern Cross station.
