On February 2023, I had the pleasure of seeing Dr Kua (UroBriz) for an enlarged prostate and TURP surgery during a critical moment. After more than a month with a catheter (five different catheters), visiting several specialists at two different urological clinics in Brisbane, and experiencing various complications, I finally arrived at Wesley Hospital and made contact with Dr Kua.
I must say that Dr Kua and his staff are simply the best. From the moment I called the office to book an appointment, his staff were concerned about my entire medical history, and as a result, they advanced my consultation time. When I went to his office, the team's treatment and concern gave me the tranquillity I needed, at a time when I had been unable to find a solution for a month.
Before the surgery, Dr Kua thoroughly explained the procedure and answered all of my questions, ensuring that I was comfortable with the process. During the surgery itself, he was incredibly skilled and efficient. Because my surgery used spinal anaesthesia, I was able to observe the entire procedure, which was impeccable, resulting in a speedy recovery and minimal scarring. The surgery exceeded my initial expectations, and his professionalism left me feeling confident at all times. This includes his medical team and anaesthetist, who called me a few times before the procedure.
I can confidently say that it was the best surgical experience I have ever had. Dr Kua and his team were professional, knowledgeable, and attentive to my needs from beginning to end. Overall, I would highly recommend Dr Kua to anyone looking for TURP surgery or any other urology procedure. He is extremely professional, experienced, and, most importantly, genuinely cares about his patients.
