This was just what I expected from a quaint little shop in Normanville. Very friendly, lots of different varieties of sweets and lollies for every kid( young and old) to find something they would love. Not expensive at all. They also have gifts/ games/toys. I found a jigsaw that my son has been looking for- never imagined I would find it in this cute little shop. The man servicing us was very helpful and friendly. We will be back when we are there on holidays again.

Tried this place out after seeing it on WOMO. Wasn't at all disappointed with the waxing service( which is all I had done on that day) or ambiance when I got there.
It is tucked away a little off Magill rd but when I made my appointment over the phone, I was given very specific instructions which made it very easy to find. Car park at the back is great- plenty of parking.
I got there a few minutes early and was very happy that I was seen on time as I had my children with me eager to get to the movies on time- which we did!
Thanks Ladies you didn't disappoint and I will be heading back.

For a small country town, they are very well stocked with items you would find in Adelaide. Very well priced. Easy parking. Good fruit and veg and meat quality. They also bake their own bread rolls( although admittedly I prefer to get my rolls from the bakery next door. They also have hot chips for the kids and the best vege patties for the vegetarians in the deli section.
Service is always friendly as you would expect from such a small town.

Always worth a visit. Cakes and coffee are always superb and fresh. Breads and bread rolls baked daily. Big place to eat in or take away. Very busy and popular place and you need to go in early for the Honey cream rolls otherwise you will definitely miss out. Also have egg free doghnuts which is very handy when you have a son with egg allergies- well done.
We will be back as we do each time we visit Yankalilla/ Normanville/ CARRICKALINGA. I'm sure this is one of the places the locals would rather keep to themselves!
Also have a range of pies, pasty's etc- lots to choose from- definitely give it a go.
Cakes are Not cheap but worth it.

a MUST VISIT WHEN holidaying in Yankalilla, Normanville or Carrickalinga. My boys wont allow us to go on holidays without a stop in to the 'cheap shop' as they call it. Lots of kids toys, books, stickers etc but also lots of homeware and lollies/ chockys etc. Just what you need when on holidays and you have forgotten the boogie board or towels or toothpaste etc- it has it all. Lots of parking out front and very friendly service. I often wonder how they can be so nice when they are working and it feels like everyone shopping is in holiday mode!

This review is for Normanville Fish Shop & Pizza, Normanville SA

great place- they are your typical fish and chip shop with everything you expect to find. They make great chips and their yiros are superb( according to my husband and son).
They have a ticket system so service is orderly and fairly quick although they do get busy in the summer and weekends/public holidays. Definitely recommend when you really couldn't be bothered cooking and lets face it who does when you are on holidays!.

Absolutely superb- always fresh and very tasty. They have an assortment of cakes and breads and hot foods such as pies, pasty's etc.
Unfortunately the only negative was that I couldn't find anything sweet for my son who has egg and nut allergies, but they are not alone in that one as it can be difficult to find at many bakeries.
They are always busy on weekends/ public holidays but you wont be disappointed. They are attached to the Normanville supermarket and chemist/ newsagent so very convenient.
I definitely recommend if you are in Normanville.

I have been on a few occasions to both the cafe and bistro. Wont return to the bistro as after our first visit we went with family and ordered all dishes from bistro menu and then wanted to order a wood oven pizza from cafe menu for one of our children with allergies-we were clearly told that wasn't possible.
The only reason we return is for the kids play area that our children enjoy- but the last couple of times we have been has been to the cafe but I can honestly say the service is poor the prices were over the top and the food was average.
On one occasion we went with some friends- all our meals came out at different times and by the time the last person was served their meal the first few had already finished eating theirs!. On another occasion x 2 soups came out cold and we asked for them to be heated-when they returned- 15 minutes later! the tide had gone out of them - yes it appeared the serving was at least a quarter less that the original quantity served. very disappointing .

Approximate cost: $too much

I have been going to Cherry Blossom for years and will continue to do so. Always fresh, great variety and always very friendly- the cash only has caused me an inconvenience once but other than that highly recommended.
Price is same as most places I ahve been to but always fresh
