I have just picked up a red rose wedding bouquet for a wedding today. Many of the Rose petals were noticeably ripped, dry petals, and black tipped. The staff at the shop tried to help as we removed about a dozen petals (I didn't want to remove too many as to effect the bouquet size, though we should've removed much more or had some entire flowers be replaced).

So I rang the head office. They told me that's how the roses are. Of course, I've seen many roses, these aren't what roses should look like. The guy was no help and left me no option. Instead, he made me feel guilty as they were a special order and implied that I should just be thankful.

I paid $200. No apology. No options to resolve my complaint. That's very poor service! As a customer paying this much money, I'd expect some effort and courtesy.

I am now left to either give the bouquet to the bride, who will be inevitably upset by this, or give her no flowers at all.

I will certainly not be going back and nor will the 100+ people from today's wedding.
