I attended a work function here recently and had mixed feelings. On the one hand the function room itself was fabulous, the staff were pleasant and the atmosphere was great. However the food was quite disappointing. My chicken dish was awful, very bland and not seasoned. The dessert was nice but I dont eat sweets so I was left quite hungry! The person next to me had a steak dish and wasnt too impressed with it either. Also the meals came out mildly warm (not hot). I know there is a lot of people to serve in a short period of time but a cold main meal is never pleasant!

This is a cafe serving great coffee, sandwiches and hot food. They make a great breakfast of eggs and bacon and toast. Prices are really quite cheap. The man that owns it is lovely and always very friendly. They are predominantly a cafe but if you want to use the internet they have a room out the back where you can. I often pop in there when I go to do my grocery shopping and have always had great service, great food and great coffee! They do takeaway also.

Have bought lunch from here many times while doing volunteer work at the St Vincent de Paul next door. The food is very fresh and very reasonably prices. They make great fresh sandwiches and also sell the usual hot food you expect from a takeaway. The girls that work there are very nice and friendly and the service is pretty fast which is good when you have a limited time for lunch break. It is popular in the industrial area where it is located so they do get very busy.

Had brunch here Sunday and it was lovely. A casual atmosphere and the staff are friendly and helpful. The prices were a little expensive but the food was delicious so well worth it. We had the big breakfast which had everything and was quite a large size. Great coffee also. Overall very nice.

This cafe is located on campus at the University of Wollongong and is a great little meeting place for students. They have great coffee and reasonably priced snacks and light meals. Friendly staff and quick service. A nice place to have a quick lunch between classes.

Jamberoo Action Park is a great place for kids and adults alike! If you want an action packed day out with rides and water rides this is a great place to take the kids and make a day of it. Food is expensive but you can take your own and have a picnic on the grass or at one of the tables dotted around the park. Wears the kids out!

New place in Wollongong. Just opened. You can get a full fish or a steak or a range of other meals. We had a steak cooked rare and a whole fish and both were delicious. All meals served with salad and chips. Not exactly cheap but good quality food and you have to make a reservation. Friendly service too. Delicious!

I got this because I saw it online. The fruit and vege was "okay" quality but for what I got in the box for $26 no way was it worth it! It was supposed to be a box that would last 2 people for a week! Yeah if you eat like a sparrow. 3 bananas, 3 apples, 2 pears, a couple of tomatoes, a cos lettuce, 3 onions and a couple of other veges! Not worth it! Rubbish!

Had a function to cater for a week ago and we didnt want to do it ourselves so were looking for someone to cater for us. Found this place in the local directory and they were great! We bought beautiful deli meat and cheese platters and the quality was amazing. Fresh deli meats, cheeses, olives, antipasto. And the prices were really reasonable also! Why do it yourself when these guys can do it for you! Will be using them again!

The Normandie has been in North Wollongong for as long as I can remember. It is small, has only 17 rooms and is really comfortable and modern. We had friends to stay recently and booked them in here. The rooms are well appointed and clean and have reverse cycle airconditioning. They have a restaurant on the premises which is really nice. And it is in a good central location close to the beach and CBD. Our friends were very happy with their stay there.
