Love Murphys! Irish/Australian cuisine! Great atmosphere and fun friendly service. Im Irish and love going to Murphys for a great Guiness Pie. Its delicious and just like home made. They also have great steaks. oysters. duck dishes and they are family friendly so kiddies are welcome. They also have lunch specials if you want to stop in for a lunch deal. For me though the Guiness Pie is my fave! Tastes like home!

The Boomerang is a great family friendly place for a night out with the family and kids. Their very relaxed friendly service is not to be beaten. Their menu is varied and changes all the time but the food is always fresh and very tasty. You have have a main meal from $15 dollars so average prices. I think the best thing is the atmosphere and service. It is right on the highway in Woonona so very accessible. The kids menu is great also.

I had to attend here and was referred by my doctor. I was hesitant at first having never been to physiotherapy before. I attended my first session with them which was like a walk through of what would happen on my next visit. The Physio guy I saw was very reassuring and helpful. Didn't rush me when i asked (many) questions. They have state of the art equipment and a lovely (hot) hydrotherapy pool. You have to pay unless you have Private Health Insurance but it was very helpful for my back and arthritis problem. The staff guide you through the whole process and are so kind and helpful. I recommend them if you need this kind of therapy for any muscular/skeletal problems.

I was afraid of Chiropractors until I had so much pain in my shoulder and the doctors couldnt seem to help and I was fed up with the side effects from painkillers. So I relented and went to see Cowan Chiroptractors. A friend recommended them to me. I have to say I was amazed! After one visit I found out that my shoulder was in so much pain because my legs and hips were out of alignment! The therapist was very patient with me as I was quite afraid but he put me at ease and it didnt hurt a bit! (Contrary to what my brain was telling me!) I seriously was in agony before but after only 3 visits I felt amazing! I highly recommend them! I will never suffer because of my fear of Chiropractors again!

This Chinese restaurant is a hard one to beat. Great food at really reasonable prices. They have takeaway and also delivery. We always get delivery and they are reliable, fairly fast and the staff on the phone speak excellent english so no problem there! The menu is standard Chinese fare but the quality is always good.

The gourmet wood fired pizzas here are fantastic! They have a great range at pretty affordable prices. Its BYO so you can save a bit on drinks! They also serve pasta dishes in case you aren't a fan of pizza. Its pretty relaxed and family friendly and the staff are really nice and helpful. Oh and they have disabled facilities if you need them. Lovely casual place but the food is up there with the best! Prices are from around 15 dollars per pizza/main so not bad value either.

Went here last week and I tried almost every beer they had on the menu! I have to say I didnt like even one of them! My friends were happy because I was taking one sip and giving them away! Did not like them at all. Ended up having to buy commercial beer which was very expensive! The snack food is okay. Standard fare really but the place is meant to be about the beer which I thought was awful!

The Anchorage Restaurant is a modern Australian Seafood restaurant which has spectacular views over the harbour whether you are dining at night or during the day. The food is wonderful! It isnt what you would call a cheap eat by any means but if you are looking for a lovely restaurant for an intimate evening out for two try here! It is considered child friendly but I think its nice for a quiet dinner for two. We had the seafood platter which was absolutely gorgeous. So fresh and well cooked. The staff are lovely, friendly and helpful. Ask for a table by the window. The view is amazing.

The Hardware Man is a locally owned company which has an excellent range and really great service. The staff are so helpful and friendly. Their prices are really reasonable. We have bought a lot of items from them while we were doing our renovations to our unit. The service is old fashioned in that its not a chain store and the staff are so willing to help out and give advice if you arent sure about a product or even quite how to do a job. Very knowledgeable! And everything is easy to find so you dont have to wander around aimlessly looking for what you need!

Fantastic place for dinner or lunch or even high tea! The view over the mountain is exquisite! Service is friendly and not overbearing. Staff helpful and know the specials by heart always. I wouldnt say it is cheap by any means but the menu is varied and the food is always of the best quality. Xmas work party here last year and it was wonderful. Book early though because they book out quick. They have 3 private dining rooms and cater for weddings, Xmas parties, birthdays etc. One of the best in the Illawarra. Mains start at 35 dollars up.
