Love, love, love this butcher. The meat is top quality, the staff really know their stuff. They are very pleasant and always happy to offer cooking tips (very necessary as I don't cook a lot of meat).

Great quality meat. Bought the BEST steaks from here last weekend, and a delicious beef roast. The quality is exceptionally good. Always happy with whatever we buy here, and the butchers are lovely. They know their products and are happy to make recommendations about cuts etc. I lucky to have this butcher close to home.

I love this shop. It has a fabulous range of unusual teas. My current favourite is their French Earl Grey (contains roses and vanilla). The service here is exceptional. I had been in once and a few weeks later went back to buy more. The lovely gentleman actually remembered me, and asked if I was after my "usual' tea! I don't live in Sydney, so go there infrequently, but he always remembers me and what I like. Looking forward to my next visit ..... even though you can buy online, it is soooo much nicer in person.

I stay at the Holiday Inn Potts Point regularly for work. Whenever I need to be in Sydney I try to stay there. The staff are AMAZING. The rooms are comfortable, the staff are wonderful, the restaurant is good. It is in a brilliant location - close to lots of great restaurants and only a short distance from CBD. It is also very close to Kings Cross Railway station. Don't let it being "Kings Cross" put you off, it is still a great place to stay. Very happy to go back there every time.

Had the guys at Toscan Glass measure, make and fit new painted glass splashbacks for our kitchen. The results are amazing - truly special. They were so good that we had them also make panels for our front door. They deliver an extremely high quality product, and have delightful, knowledgeable staff. Very, very happy to have done business with them. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Had the guys from Knebel install a new kitchen for us just before Christmas last year. They did an amazing job. Very happy with it - it looks amazing, and is so functional. It has become the heart of our home. There are cheaper companies out there, but would never have considered them having seen Knebel's showroom pieces. www.knebel.com.au

Fabulous Thai food in lovely surroundings. The food is consistently great, and the staff are delightful. Try as I might, I can't eat here without ordering the soft shell crab. Delicious. Been here on a number of occasions and am always delighted. Would definitely recommend it.

Delicious home-style Australasian food. Matthew and Thao cater for the lunch / coffee group. The food is consistently great (not just good). They sell salads (Asian noodle, roast vegetable, Caesar), sandwiches, quiches, savory slices, curries, pies, pasties and cakes. Prices are really good too with a curry, without rice costing just $8.50, quiches are $5.50. I have been buying lunch from here on and off for a few years now and am always happy with the food. Couple that with lovely staff and service and you are definitely on to a winner.

Approximate cost: $5.50

This review is for Ginger Room, Barton ACT

Took my husband to the Ginger Room for his birthday, neither of us had been there before. The restaurant is in Old Parliament House. The setting is beautiful, with views to Parliament House. We were greeted at the door by our waiter, a charming French gentleman, who looked after us for the evening. We chose the degustation menu, 7 courses for $99 per person. (There was a version which included matched wines for $139 per person.) The food was spectacular. We really enjoyed every bite. When the desert course was served, my husbands plate had "Happy Birthday" written on it in chocolate! A lovely touch. The staff were discrete and attentive. The food was amazing, and the wine list extensive. All in all, a fabulous experience and a delightful restaurant we plan to visit again very soon.
