I discovered this place through a friend and I really like their soups and entrees. The Vietnamese Pho Tai soup is unbeatable for lunch after a night out. It gives you a great recharge. The stock is not overpowering nor does it taste pre-prepared or out of a packet. It's a small place and gets packed quite quickly but I've always got a table.

Approximate cost: $10

A friend introduced me to the delights of the Tea Centre and I'll never look back. The smell as you walk in is amazing.

They have a great selection of black, green and infusion teas. I can't decide if Ritz Carlton or Stockholm is my favourite.

I recently converted another friend away from coffee to their tea. :-)

I recommend a few visits to their store (where you can sit and order a pot) and then you can start buying online.

The price per kilo sounds a lot but a kilo is a lot of tea. Worth every penny.

Approximate cost: $130/kg

I recently trialled the RetextureCreme and a Tinted Primer from Eve Cosmetics and they were great. You can get the free samples from their website.

They were very light on my skin and you don't need to apply much under your foundation. I didn't need to worry about my foundation all day and it wasn't oily at all. As some have said, you could even wear the Tinted Primer on its own.

The price of the primers is lower than other well known brands and I think this is better anyway! Highly recommended!!

Approximate cost: $40-45
