Like the previous reviewer we will not go anywhere else for Fish and chips in the Werribee area and actually pass over approx 6-8 other outlets to get there.. We have been going here for nearly 5 years after finding them by accident and have found no where better in the Werribee area.
They are a busy busy place and orders by phone are taken with no niceties, but extreme efficiency and I expect with a view to who else might be waiting. If you ask for a time frame when your order will be ready, you had better believe them !! I live in Hoppers Crossing and by the time I drive in my order is always ready. I would to know the secret of how my order stays so hot without any loss of crispness even after the drive home. I believe they must change their oil more frequently than most as the food always tastes fresh. The battered flake is to die for with a light and always crispy batter and moist juicy fish- the chips are never limp and soggy and the servings are generous. We never order more than one serve of chips and we struggle to finish this between two of us.
We generally order two battered flake and one serve of chips and pay $12.50.
