We came for a family birthday dinner. The meals are decent, and the pizzas are pretty good. Have to watch what you order as my chicken came drowned in sauce which was pretty rich and I couldnt finish it.
We had a big breakfast here! It was awesome, loved the chutney and the eggs were perfect. It was so busy, and we had to wait for a table as it was raining outside, but definitely worth it. Would recommend booking to avoid disappointment on the weekend.
This shop is pretty unique. It has a bakery one side and a cafe serving the fresh goods on the other. The cafe is also filled with nick nacks which are for sale. We went and had coffee, milkshakes and pies in the cafe. It seems to be the only popular place in town and was pretty good I must say (although my husband has to send his milkshake back for more topping everytime!).
The atmosphere is pretty good here, with all the old artifacts and old school decor. The food is your average country pub affair, nothing too unexpected on the menu.
We went on a pretty quiet night. The food was what you expect from a pub, but I had the kangaroo and although it's supposed to be cooked rare, parts were raw! My husbands burger was ok. Not great, but seeing as we are local might give it another go.
Ok so have to break it to you all. Dim Sims and Potato Cakes have gone all the way up to 50 cents!!!! (but still pretty much half of what everyone else charges!).
Good news is that chicken roll, chips and a can is still $4.40!
This is our fall back Friday night dinner, and whilst you wouldn't want to eat it everyday as it's pretty greasy it is still delicious =)
We had Niki as our wedding photographer. We loved every photo- and she took a lot. She made us feel comfortable from the start and made our photos extra special without rushing or stressing us out! We would definitely recommend her! After finding her randomly on the Internet we are so glad that we did =)
I got my legs waxed here a while ago, pretty good service- although took a little longer than other places I have been. The owner was nice and overall I would probably go back if my usual place if booked out again.
Its pretty cheap here, I get 3/4 leg and brief for like $35-$40 (yes the price changes depending on the day sometimes LOL).
It is cheap, but service is also pretty busy, so don't expect that you will be the only one getting the attention of Jenny as she waxes (often answering the phone etc). In saying that she is lovely and if you get a good time when its not so busy she does do a great job!
We have pretty much never had a bad pizza from here. Prices are what you expect for a small pizza shop, but they make it up with pretty good pizzas!
