Kri Kri is a Greek restaurant located at the top of Little Collins Street. On the occasions I had visited I have enjoyed a feast of delicious food from the banquet menu - trust me when I say it was delicious! Can be seen as a little pricey, but as expected for it's location.
Cosmetician Studio is a college for beauty therapists. Essentially you are the guinea pig while they practice their learned skills on you - everything from waxing and body treatments, to body massage and electrolysis. Obviously the service is a little slow and sometimes tedious as the girls learn their trade, but they are friendly and the environment is clean and hygenic. If you are on a budget and don't mind waiting longer than the usual, definitely give these girls a go!
A beautifully decorated and very relaxing place to be pampered. The girls are friendly and very thorough. I have only experienced a massage at Alchemy and it was great. I can now officially understand why the locals keep going back!
Great service and a good range of clothing and accessories. If they don't have the item you want, they'll do their very best to transfer it from another store, or order one in especially for you. Prices are the usual standard that you would expect to pay at any surf shop.
A delicious Indian restaurant that sells all the classic 'Indian favourites'. A very popular restaurant for the locals and surrounding towns so it's a good idea to book.
My mum has been taking her car to Bush Inn Motors for several years now to be serviced, and after my car ran out of warranty I too sent my car there. It was serviced on the day, and when I got the bill I was pleasantly surprised to find it quite affordable compared to what car dealerships charge. I'll keep going back to Bush Inn Motors from here on in.
With two for one drinks on a Friday night (5pm-7pm), what more can one ask for! The venue could do with a little spunkying up, but after a couple of rounds you don't notice a thing. It's also just across the road from Spencer Street Station so makes for an easy trip home.
Not your average pub meal - the menu at the Tele is extensive and sometimes quite gourmet. The meals are quite expensive for a 'pub' but definitely worth it - especially the pies of the day, and of course the chicken parma! A great beer garden out the back with live bands playing every Friday night during the summer months. Bookings a must.
A great place to eat if you're looking for somewhere convenient that serves really yummy food. Very generous portions and an extensive menu. Very funky and colourful atmosphere, however sometimes a little loud. Great desserts!
I took my car up to NGP after someone reversed into me. They offered a no fuss service - the car was looked over, booked in, and then fixed within the week. It even came back fully detailed inside and out! If you need a smash repairer in the Gisborne area, I can definitely recommend NGP.
