I would not recommend lort smith. I took our rescue Guinea pig in for review of a scratch to her back. As recommended I took all three bonded Guinea pigs in to reduce stress/as recommended. The vet saw us for 20-30 minutes. Briefly weighed and picked up the other two Guinea pigs. I was charged $204 on the day and fully paid. I returned a week later to renew a script to find charges had been added after I had fully paid. I have been charged $127 for each of the other two Guinea pigs that attended. Which means not only do Lort Smith add charges after you have already fully paid an account without informing you at all but they are proposing to charge $450 for a 20-30 min appt! Outrageous.
