My boyfriend and I had a delicious meal here, despite the loud noise from the few tables filled with groups of women. The dishes are portioned well and a compliment of tastes. The staff were quick to organise drinks and take orders and the food came out in a reasonable time. They did re-fill water glasses regularly which was good since the tables are not large enough to leave the water jug on the table. We received a pleasant thankyou for our patronage before we left.

I really only come here for lunch during work, when they have a great $9 special. It is better than most Thai places and they whip the food out very quick. I always have an enjoyable filling meal that tastes great! Too easy for lunch and a bargain in Avalon.

I used to get take-away from here often when I lived in DY when it was La Cantina, but we went the other weekend with about 10 of us and it had changed to Poppy's. The staff were a little pushy on getting the order but it was about 8:30. They were also unwilling to do a split bill but in the end did. This made up a little for their grim faces and lack of cheeriness. A great menu of diverse pizzas without anything too ridiculous, and most around the $20 mark. The dessert pizzas are amazing! I tried the banana, bit like banofe pie and I could easily eat a whole one! The people that tried the strawberry said it was really good also. I would go back because it is good food at a good price but not for the service.

A beautiful view and the staff are knowledgeable and ready to assist without being on top of you. The food is beautiful, I could not fault it. It has something for most price ranges although it is a more classy place. The wine list was quite extensive. I look forward to going back some day soon and trying more dishes.

We attended a wedding reception and the place is beautiful. The food was amazing and quite generously sized and the view was stunning! There are few places on the Northern Beaches that you could have such amazing views from the very large balconies. The upsetting part was the serving staff were a little miserable and rarely smiled. Our table was missing a chair when we arrived and the maitre'd pretty much barked at us when she came to check it had been sorted out. Also when they delivered the special request meals they had no idea what name they were for and you're sitting on a table with a bunch of people you don't know, they got grumpy with us for this.

My family have been using this chiropractor, Kim, for about 15 years. The offices are clean, service is efficient and friendly. If you have other issues at the time of your consultation Kim is always happy to have a look, eg hayfever, cold, sore knee etc. and adjust accordingly or provide other helpful options. They also do a bonus for referring and often run introductory deals for new clients.

I have been seeing Dr Surgeon here for more than 20 years and I would not change. I have always been given friendly service over the years and good advice about how to avoid major problems in the future with my teeth. I have had preventative wisdom extractions done in the chair for cost effectiveness and quicker recovery over the years. I have also seen the same staff throughout the years as well.

I have used this gentleman a couple of times, including for 5 pairs in one hit. He does a beautiful job and with one pair of heels that the sole was in half, glued them, re-soled and heeled and re-painted them for me, without asking. Has a great turn-around time and good value. A re-sole is about $30 and re-heel about $15. Only accepts cash and doesn't speak much English but I wouldn't take my shoes anywhere else!

I had to have a wedding cross-stitch framed within two weeks which is there usual turn around and they had it done a week early! They were willing to see me a little earlier than opening time because I had to get to work. For what I had to have done the price was within my buidget and I was very happy with the final product. Also they were the only one I found on the beaches that specialised in embroideries.

Love this place for brunch, or all day breakfast ;) Fast service, food is served hot and delicious. Good value for money and a great location. Its the only place I would go to for breakfast on the beaches having discovered it a couple of months ago.
