Product faulty on delivery. Screws holding transformer were not secured properly during manufacture and onlly 2 bolts used diagonally on a large transformer. Unit likely a US transformer under rated for Australia power ranges. Overheats, vibrates, RMA took week. Let's see if repaired or not. Upon repair will operate and see if it is capable of running for 12 or 24 hours as required during a super-chlorination session.
Unit current draw quite high, if faulty transformer due to excessive laminate wear may contribute to power draw, for something that should draw between 0.3-0,5kW sucks closer to a full or greater than 1kW to product ~250W of power...
