STAY AWAY FROM COMPUPOOL PRODUCTS AND TROPICAL POOL STORE, I purchased a salt cell in Dec 21 from Tropical Pool Store, The cell arrived broken in the box with no packing and no paperwork, I repaired it myself after no response from phone calls and emails, and being in Christmas/new years period. followed up in mid-January no response. Oct 23 cell stopped working contacted Tropical Pool store, and they asked the usual if salt ok, etc. Instructed to send to Compupool products (the manufacturer) at my cost ($25), cell returned 2 weeks later no paperwork no report, sent Tropical an email to tell them its been returned asking what was done, no reply, Feb 24 cell stops working again, contact tropical concerned it may be something on my end causing issues, the very rude Dave holt accused me of cleaning in acid, i replied it hasn't been touched in the 3-4months since it got repaired, advised to return again to Compupool for repair, another $25 to sent, now they want to charge me $175 to repair, the apparent 6 year warranty is pro rata after 2 years, as i didnt get any paperwork i didnt know, and Dave Holt couldnt give n "F" his response was then just buy a new one if dont want to pay for the repair. So angry no care that it was repaired 4 months ago thats the warranty sucked in.

Installed new cell and within 2 week the cables melted and the cell connections leaked. Company has refused to cover under warranty and have not even offered an explaination as to why this would have happened and just want to charge for repaires.
Not one person from the company with talk to me about the issue, just hoping you will walk away so they can get away with selling doggy faulty products.
If a product has a 3 year warranty and failed to work in that time or even within the first month that says a lot about the quality they supply.

Product faulty on delivery. Screws holding transformer were not secured properly during manufacture and onlly 2 bolts used diagonally on a large transformer. Unit likely a US transformer under rated for Australia power ranges. Overheats, vibrates, RMA took week. Let's see if repaired or not. Upon repair will operate and see if it is capable of running for 12 or 24 hours as required during a super-chlorination session.
Unit current draw quite high, if faulty transformer due to excessive laminate wear may contribute to power draw, for something that should draw between 0.3-0,5kW sucks closer to a full or greater than 1kW to product ~250W of power...

always good to deal with. Have used compu pool for many years and would highly recommend them. We have installed a lot of their infinity series units and never have an issue. Easy to use and pump out the chlorine.
