These guys have a nut or bolt to fit everything. I have been there numerous times with odd bolts that I need more of, or needing a particular bolt or screw for a job, and they always come up with the goods. Very friendly and helpful, even when I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be asking for.

This is a great little cafe that is a little tucked out of sight. They have great, friendly service, and every time I have taken the children there, the staff have been great. They don't mind children. The food is always delicious.

My boys love going to the slot car centre. We will often go there just for 1/2 an hour and they have an absolute ball racing the cars around the big figure 8 track. The people there are always very friendly and don't mind the boys asking lots of questions about what they are doing and why. Lots of fun.

The last house I rented was through Lamond Estate Agents and they were wonderful to deal with. We were with them for many years and never had any problems. They were always fair, and helpful.

This motel is one I have used only very occasionally as a weekend retreat. It caters mostly for group tours. It provides a quiet room which is all I am looking for when I get away for a quiet weekend by myself.

I love going to the Wynnum Anchor motel for a quiet weekend getaway. It brings back so many memories of staying there as a child. It has been around for a long time. It is close to the bay and is a quiet and relaxing spot.

A couple of times a year I like to go away from all responsibilities for a weekend for a refresh and recharge. I love going to Pelican's Nestle Inn as it is close to the water and shops, yet also fairly quiet if you get the back section. I find it a very relaxing place to be.

I love to haunt second hand shops and this is one that I visit quite often. Most of the range is fairly standard second hand fare, but just occasionally I come across a real find. They have a large sized store, and so are able to stock items in a whole range of areas.

We have been to this restaurant a couple of times over the last few years. Last year we had a christmas breakup party here with a group of 20 people. They were fantastic, and the food was lovely.

Every christmas I see cars lined up for k's leading up to this place, so I thought I would check it out. They have a great range of seafood, very reasonably priced. Quite a few times I have picked up wonderful bargains here. The prawns at Christmas are great.
