I have been here twice in the last month and both times have experienced the same problem of being over charged by as much as $3.00 per glass of wine. The wine list is poor and not cheap for what it is. Staff were very passive aggressive when challenged about the over cost. The first time after 5 minutes of me being blamed for ordering the more expensive wine, i was refunded the difference on what i actual ordered. The seconded visit, their explanation after 10 minutes of 3 staff going through the till checking and giving dirty looks was, we were given a better class of wine (that was not on the wine list) then ordered. however if we would like, they would tip out that wine and give us the wine we ordered??. The couple we were having dinner with then checked their change and found the same thing had happened to them. My advise is don't pay until you know the cost of the drinks. Unfortunately the food is also hit and miss. out of the 4 meals ordered only one would be rated as average. Wont be back

Approximate cost: $meals $25> Drinks what ever they feel like charging

I have been to the Brunswick about a dozen times for lunch. The staff are always polite and go beyond normal expectations to be of assistance. The meals are huge, the huge, my wife and I share a meal. The quality of the meals certainly exceed the $12.00 value. Keep up the great work guys.

Approximate cost: $12.00

Wow, went into this place for dinner and was not expecting much. However we were wrong. My wifes salmon ($20) was cooked just right and better than most fine dining places. I had their special 500gram rump $17.50 and again cooked as ordered. No meal on the menu was over $28.00 (500 gram T/Bone). good selection of meals across the menu.

Approximate cost: $60 with drinks

went to bunnings to buy a roll of 6.5 x 6.5 x 900mm vermin wire. Bunnings price $45.00 5m roll. Elsewhere $39.00 for a 10m roll. Went to the customer desk and explained they were 230% more expensive then Masters. We were basically told we were wrong they were only 50% more expensive and they were here first and would not price as they didn't sell the 10m roll. Comparison Bunnings $90 for 10m . Masters $39.00 for 10m. No more visits to bunnings, convenience does not make up for their lack of costumers service, poor knowledge and high prices.

Meals indicated on the menu as gluten free are not necessarily gluten free. Ordered a gluten free breakfast (eggs Benedict) after asking if it really was gluten free and advised it was. When the meal was delivered we asked again if it was gluten free, and the front of house staff members said I think it is, but i'm not sure about the Hollandaise sauce, it may contain gluten. Upon checking with the chef it was identified that the Hollandaise sauce was identified by the manufacture as "may contain gluten". We were told " how intolerant to gluten are you, we would not recommend you have the sauce if your intolerance is high. !!!!! what the???

However, after saying this, you will love the place if you are not gluten intolerant or know what is gluten free.

Approximate cost: $very fair
