These people ruined not only my wedding dress but a Christening gown as well. When I received my wedding gown back I was sure it was a different colour, cream instead of ivory but I decided I was imagining it and sold it on and forgot about it. But then I went back to them with my brand new Christening gown and once again it came back a different colour, this time from white to a dirty grey off white. I took it back and asked what the story was and they were very offhand and unapologetic about it and said perhaps the cleaning fluid was dirty and did I want them to bleach it. Um, yes thanks! Well it came back marginally better but they told me they couldnt do anything more for me and as you do sign a waiver I felt my hands were tied. I did tell them I was going to make sure no one I knew used them and its the only time I've really followed through and made sure I've told people, if you want your precious white clothes back the same colour you bought them, dont use this drycleaner!

This place is very, very nice for an unassuming cafe which is kinda on a side street really. The decor is simple, but classy, and the coffee.....Oh. My. Gosh, the coffee is amazing. I almost ordered another as soon as I'd finished the first, and I never drink two coffees in a sitting. The only thing that stopped me was that I was in the middle of a long bike ride and wasnt sure how 2 coffees would sit with me, particularly as I'd ordered the Braised Chickpea and Chorizo with a sherry reduction. YUM. (I did burp chorizo all the way home but only in a good way. ;o)
The wait staff were polite and professional but not particularly friendly, but we were in bike gear so maybe we weren't up to their standards! It is pricey but the menu is very appealing so if you're looking for a place to treat yourself on the weekend this is it. As we left there was a line up of about 10 people waiting to be seated so the place is clearly making its mark.

Approximate cost: $15-29

This is the cutest little place with just the nicest owner/managers! Good coffee, yummy little treats including their gorgeously decorated little mini cupcakes and all sorts of adorable handcrafted earrings, necklaces, hats, bags, badges etc etc. And you can buy a milo for the kids instead of an overpriced thimbleful of foamy milk!
They also have a catering business where they make full size cupcakes to order.

This place is brand new and simply BEAUTIFUL! Its very classy in its decor and furniture and the menu is so enticing with more interesting dishes/ingredients then you would normally get at your average suburban cafe. Their other focus is the deli with all sorts of goodies lined up in their cabinet and on the shelves.
It also has really good Campos coffee which is very exciting to discover in the suburbs AND you can BYO drinks! So I'm thinking a relaxing Saturday afternoon (not open Sundays) is in my very near future, with one of their cheese platters and a glass of my favourite wine.
I pick this place is onto a winner and they will become very popular very soon. I wouldnt review them in order to keep them all to myself only I want them to be around for a very long time!

Approximate cost: $10-15

Such a cute cafe with retro mismatched furniture, fantastic outdoor eating area, just gorgeous wholesome food and the coffee is sensational. Very busy on weekends which is testament to how good it is, but trust me, its worth the wait to be seated if you are after awesome coffee and REAL food.
