Rang Fawcett Plumbing to get a quote for the replacement of our broken hot water system.
Their website says "Get a free quote" but they charge $66 to come out and quote (deductible if you decide to go ahead on the spot, which we would never do) unless they happen to be in the area. A bit misleading and disappointing.
Wayne was communicative, on time, provided detailed explanations all the way through and answered all my questions. He stayed until the problem was completely fixed, which wasn't until 6:30 PM. We have very much appreciated his persistence to get the job done and will more than likely be using him again soon, this time for a new gas hot water installation.

Optus advised the mobile number for this business is disconnected. I suspect they've gone out of business.
Rang the 1300 number on this web page today Monday at 9:15 AM and got a voice mail with one spoken word on it: "Goodbye". I suspect this business is closed.
The food was absolutely lovely. It was very busy when we came in (around 7PM) so it took a while to get served (30-45 min), but the portions were generous and we didn't mind the wait as the hustle and bustle kept us entertained.

We needed to move a 3 bedroom house + rumpus. Because we didn't know how much we could expect to prepare before the move we agreed with Kym to work on an hourly rate of 105ph inc GST instead of a fixed price. The work was done efficiently and the truck was big and loaded full. However when payment came Kym insisted on being paid in cash, which had not been agreed to; and an additional charge to drive from the city center to our home and back was added on, even though this had not been discussed in the quote. He refused to leave until the amount had been paid in full, and in cash. My husband had to drive to an ATM with him since we did not have such a large amount lying around the house.
The move itself was done well but I felt badly about the experience afterwards and would not go with this business again.

We are happy to refund as we only quote to win the jobs almost never charge the $66 .

Hi Helen thanks for the feed back im sure you understand that the reason we ask for the $66 is to avoide customers that want the cheapest (illegal ,un insured) job carried out as we will never be the cheapest with all the qualifications we have with the greatest team available 24/7 .On the Web site we also say we will beat any genuine quote by 10% .
Looks like you may have gone with Enviro plus for your Hot water heater good for you another Great Company. Thank you again for your comments.
Hi guys, there might be a misunderstanding, my apologies. I posted this review after ringing your office to book in a quote. When we found out that it would cost $66 to get a quote, we decided to forego it and request quotes from other companies instead.
My review was for the benefit of other customers to highlight the difference between the wording on your website of "Get a free quote" and the information I was given on the phone, which was that it would be $66 to get a quote, refundable if we go ahead and order from you.
Apologies if it came across as if I was unhappy about paying the fee. The $66 fee acted as a deterrent and we didn't go ahead with the quote request.
