I inherited HBF because they took over GMF. The customer service is really NON-EXISTANT! When I was with GMF, the phone was answered in less than 3 minutes. HBF gave me a new card that wouldn't give me a benefit on HICAPS today and when I tried to call to sort out the situation, I was on hold more than half an hour and the person at HBF was unable to help me! I wasted so much time that I was unable to attend my next appointment. They couldn't even give me a quote on an item number! I ended up paying full cost to the dentist and decided to do an online claim. I was unable to register on the site to do this and when I left a message to be called back, I was given the message that it would be in 3 days! THAT IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH! I will be leaving this fund ASAP as I have never experienced such bad service anywhere ever!

The Pharmacist is very willing to give advice and also find you the cheapest way to buy a script that you require. The prices for private scripts are the cheapest I have found! Chemist Warehouse is definitely NOT the cheapest in Australia!
