I got the cutest pair of baby ugg boots at this store. They were kind of expensive ($40) for a baby shoe but they were just adorable! They sell all sorts of 'Australian' stuff, great to send overseas to friends and family

There's a couple of chiropractors operating out of these offices but see Grant Phillips. I feel great since starting, he does a really good job. Friendly chiropractor and reception staff too.
Note: This place is also known as Back to Life Chiropractic

Great value for money Asian food. We've eaten here dozens of times and always had a pretty decent meal especially considering the price. The fish cakes are pretty good.

Approximate cost: $7-10

The food here was just ok for us. However, I do like the curly fries! My husband got the Tex Mex combo and was not at all impressed with the chimichanga - it is worth noting that he is half Mexcian so does have high expectations of Mexican food but I didn't think it was that great either. Edible and filling but nothing to write home about.

Friendly service and a cute beachy atmosphere and nice location. For me the food wasn't that great, they served the butter for my roll in an oyster shell which was a really novel and fun idea however the butter taste like it had been scraped out of the grease traps from the fryers. And the meal was just ok. I ordered a chocolate brownie for dessert and it just didn't hit the mark. Not totally terrible but not fantastic either.

This review is for Hard Rock Cafe, Surfers Paradise QLD

The burgers at Hard Rock are great, and considering you now pay about $10 plus for a burger on pretty much any menu, the burgers at Hard Rock starting at about $12.95 are really good value. They are really filling and come with a big serve of chips. The ambience is fun, a little loud at times, but a good casual atmosphere. They are also child friendly particularly if you go for lunch or an early dinner.

This review is for Oporto, Broadbeach QLD

I used to go to the original Oporto in North Bondi more than 15 years ago. They were onto a good thing and you can't blame them for franchising but the burgers are nowhere near as good as the original ones were. And also kind of pricey nowdays. But still definately my preferred Chicken take-away, beats the pants off KFC or Red Rooster - yuck.

Approximate cost: $7-10

Maries is a chain pizza takeaway (just in QLD in think) They are a better but more expensive alternative to Pizza Hut, Dominoes, etc. The pizzas are pretty good and the service is fast and pretty good.

This review is for La Porchetta, Broadbeach QLD

I've dined at La Porhcetta's elsewhere and loved them. We went in to the Broadbeach one a few weeks ago and they were running a 'lunch special'. I ordered the veal schnitzel and my husband got the chicken parmigiana and I we were both really disappointed. The veal was really musty and the chips were cold. The waiter was really unattentive too. Maybe they'd be better for dinner, I know some restaurants do drop their standards for 'lunch specials' but it really is a shame because it deters me from returning. I'd still eat at La Porchetta elsewhere though.

This review is for Grill'd, Coolangatta QLD

We prefer this Grill'd to the one in Robina. Better atmosphere, and we feel better burgers. The mustard n pickle burger is pretty good. A serve of the herb fries are big enough to share.

Approximate cost: $8-15
