We go to Doyle's On The Beach Watsons Bay every time we go to Sydney. It is the best seafood restaurant in Australia in my opinion. I love the Jumbo stuffed prawns and the char grilled octopus. And you can't go past the view!
A restaurant inside a brewery. Fantastic concept and excellent food. The chilli mussels and beautiful. They also do a lot of Tapas style food. Waiters are very laid back (often sitting down at your table to take the order) but it's all part of the charm of the place. There was a scottish bag piper (electric) playing last time we went! Very good night out.
You can't go past the fettucine Mille Lira it is the house speciality and is really very good. You get baby prawns through a creamy tomato and chilli based sauce. It is so so good. The atmosphere is very laid back and friendly with photos of customers all over the walls and paper tableclothes and crayons on the tables for you to draw with!
Yum I love the Garlic Bread at Renato's it is one of the best I have ever had! Typical Italian fare all pretty good in my experience. The place can get pretty noisy but other than that has a good atmosphere.
The steak fajitas at this place are really good. I've also had a good Thai beef salad here. Desserts aren't bad either we had an apple crumble which was delicious. The prices aren't cheap but aren't expensive either. It's also a quite trendy bar.
The Grand is a Hotel/pub in Labrador opposite the broadwater. The have a small outdoor beer garden, a gaming area, sports bar, liquor store etc. Prices are pub standard. Good place for a quiet Sunday afternoon drink.
We visited the Thursday Plantation as my wife is addicted to Tea Tree Oil! She uses it for everything. You can buy all the skincare products as well as essential oils, etc. They often have clearance items - we got bottles of Tea Tree shampoo for $1 each! They have a cafe on site which was pretty good. There is also a large maze on site and sculptures all over the grounds. Good day out.

Crystal Castle is located in Mullumbimby and is a scenic drive from Byron Bay. The Castle is surrounded by beautiful gardens and countryside. You can have your aura photographed, and other such experiences. The Lotus Cafe is great with sweeping views over the mountainside. The food is healthy and delicious.
There is an admission fee to get in.
Approximate cost: $4-$18 for meals
The chicken burrito with slithered almonds on top is really nice. I had it once and it was a bit dry but the other time I had it, it was spot on. I've tried a few other things here and they were all ok too.
This place isn't bad. Their fajitas are pretty good. The best thing about this place is the 1/2 price lunch menu. They also offer 25% off to holders of the Seniors or Carers discount card which is very good of them.
