There is no better experience than getting out of the surf and going to warm your belly with a Roti. They are filling and so delicious! It's about $10 for a roti but it's a whole meal. The food is consistently good and the service is very friendly. Big thumbs up to this place!

Great way of earning a little 'pocket money' The surveys are usually easy to complete and often interesting. It is time consuming but it's a good hobby.

This is a good place to go to have something to eat and look around even if you don't gamble, there are a few good restaurants to choose from catering to various budgets. During the day it's kid friendly too. Catching the monorail across also adds to the adventure for the little ones.

Small chinese restaurant with a standard interior (nothing fancy, but nothing wrong with it either). Quick service. Sometimes we'll order a plain or fried rice to go with a home cooked dinner. And it's ready quickly, fair price and tastes good.

A mens cut for $23.50 is pretty a pretty standard price to pay and they did a pretty good haircut (considering a receeding a hairline!). Convenient location in Mermaid Beach with easy parking.

For a couple of bucks you can catch the monorail between the Oasis Shopping Mall and Jupiters Casino. You can go around as many times as you want, which is a great way to entertain little ones on a rainy day. We took our almost 3 year old and she loved it. One of the staff came into our car and gave her a monorail colouring in sheet too, which she was just wrapped with!

A unique cafe / antique store. They sell stuff like old done up rocking horses, and other collectibles, etc. They have 'drive through' coffee and a cafe inside, there is also a sand pit and places that kids can have a play. Good coffee in a unique setting.

Vintage Espresso has an atmosphere that is quite unique. All the furniture and fittings are 'retro' and mismatched, so there are wooden, wrought iron and fabric chairs all thrown into the mix. The coffee is good. It does get pretty busy especially on a weekend

Located on the Gold Coast Highway, you can't miss it with it's big 'Mandarin Chinese' neon sign. The interior has a good chinese restaurant atmosphere too. Not a huge fan of Chinese food but I really enjoyed this.
