Great, small sushi train style restaurant. You can get take-away too. Fresh sushi. Also have a little play area in the corner for little ones.
Good, cheap, take away food. A few tables to sit outside. The chicken is good, the chips are good, the prices are really reasonable.
Only place in Australia where the CARES airplane safety harness for kids is available. We used it while travelling around the world and it was fantastic. Cost $120 plus about $6 for postage.
We've been ripped off by other car dealers on the Gold Coast in the past and we tried these guys out after a referral from a friend. We now trust them to do all our car maintenance and repairs.
The surrounds are beautiful, the shopping is quite unique and the food is healthy and good - however I think the $14.00 entry fee is a bit steep to charge to go shopping and eat at a cafe. Really other than a nice view and some pleasant gardens there isn't really any value for the entry fee. I would be much more inclined to visit regularly if the entry fee was non-existant or small (like $3-$4)
In my opinion good pizza is hard to come by on the Gold Coast, there are a few places but not many. Pizza Capers does a pretty good pizza. We love The Algerian with chorizo.
Not long opened up, we had lunch here during the week and it was well priced and pretty yummy. I got the teriyaki chicken which came on a bed of rice. They have two sizes and the smaller one is actually pretty big. I didn't finish it all. The service was friendly it was just a little slow on this occassion. But I'd eat there again considering it's healthier, cheap and tasty.
Approximate cost: $10
I love the lamb kebab here, I always get it with sour cream and chili sauce. They also do a good kebab burger style thing. I don't know what it's called but it's basically kebab meat on a big slab of turkish bread style bun.
Approximate cost: $8-15
The fact that these guys do a gluten free option gives them a 5 star in my opinion. They have a separate fryer for the gluten free stuff and you can get a wide range of GF food including - fish, chips, and potato scallops. We have a coeliac family member and it is so good to be able to get a takeaway meal that they can be included in. The chips are old style, the nice big thick ones. Can be quite popular so expect to wait.
Within the the Crown Towers Resort the setting of this Chiangmai Thai is just gorgeous. The service is fast and courteous. The food is really really good. Our favourite is the spicy beef. We also like to dine at the Broadbeach one, but they are both really good.
Approximate cost: $15-20
