I went here to get a computer fixed. They were quite unhelpful really, telling me it would cost some ridiculous amount for them to even look at it. They couldn't offer me any advice for free. I had a look around for someone else to fix it and ended up going to them instead. The staff member at Lanolot also tried to sell me other things that I didn't want - a new mouse, speaker setup etc (stuff I had literally no intention of buying and didn't even ask about!)
Victoria Point Office Supplies stock a really great range of office stationary - everything from ink cartridges, pens, envelopes, binders etc. They are a little bit more expensive than somewhere like Officeworks but I think it is better to support smaller businesses like this.
Sweet Corner is a great local sweet shop in Victoria Point. They make their own fudge in many different flavours and sell a large range of English and American goodies. Including English chips like Hula Hoops which I have not been able to purchase anywhere else. Some of the prices are quite high but imported foods are always more expensive.
This is a good little newsagent with a great range of magazines, stationary, cards and scratchies! They often have items on special outside of the store. The staff are very helpful and can assist you with most things. They even stock some more alternative magazines that I like.
We used this florist for flowers for my grandfather's funeral. They had a nice range of options at different prices which worked well for our family. Some of us wanted to spend a little whereas my grandmother wanted to spend a bit more. They were very flexible with colours and allowed us to put together flowers that aren't usually in the same piece. Price was quite high but was probably good value.
Burgo's is quite a good fruit/veg shop. They usually have quite a wide range of products. One of my favourite features of this shop is that they have some bulk bins where you can get as much as you like of things like nuts, dried fruit and some sweets. They also have a juice bar attached which makes some really yummy juices!
Hawthorne Cineplex is quite a small cinema complex - I think it was built in the 1940s so it is quite old/ antique looking. They have three screens and have recently added the equipment to play 3D movies. It is a nice quiet cinema especially during week days.
Really great new-ish cinema with nine screens, including a Deluxe Cinema and 3D Cinema. The Deluxe Cinema is a great experience, just like the Gold Class that other places boast. It is a licensed area for 18+ where you can order meals and drinks to be brought to you during your film. Really cheap Cinema, $8.50 maximum for adults or $13 for the 3D movies. The complex is cash only, so make sure that you take money with you.

Biome is a wonderful store. They have an amazing range of products for the eco-minded. I love that they stock a variety of different priced items so that you can purchase something to suit your budget. They have a great variety of green cleaning, baby, beauty and home and garden products.
