My first visit here was a disaster but ever since it's been really nice. I like the specials they have which is a nice variety ie curry. Food comes out quickly, lots of room around the tables. Can get a bit loud with the pub there but you expect that. Prices are reasonable, nice decor, could easily have a big table (ie 10+ people) fit comfortably and room for families with prams/high chairs. Staff have always been cheerful and helpful Desert cabinet is my fav - I normally get it take away and they are only too happy to oblige

The lakeside rooms are lovely, they have been renovated over the last few years by the looks of it so nice and modern. Only bad thing is that the walls are paper thin so I could hear the guy next door snoring all night, so glad the bed was on wheels so we could wheel it to the other side of the room. Lovely walk to the falls, great for relaxing. We also went to visit a few wineries. Meals at the restaurant were good but choice is limited, ok when only staying 2 nights. We did go in to town but choices are limited there too - country living for you! Overall it's a lovely and tranquil setting, best suited to a family or a relaxing weekend away, probably wouldn't recommend to someone looking for adventerous/active holiday as it's quite out of town etc

I am not the biggest fan of this cafe. The food is nice but it can be so expensive. For example I had an all day breakfast and ordered an extra hashbrown, for $1 I got one of those tiny triangle ones. I still eat here often as it's close to work.

Dr Raj and the vet nurses at this vet are so so lovely. My puppy is now 9 months old and she has been there for needles, a bee sting, urine infection, eye drops - you name it! They always fit me in at short notice if needed and because they are open later in the day I don't have to miss work. My pup loves going to see them, she still gets excited. You can tell they love animals and it makes a difference to know they are just around the corner. When she had a urine infection they kept her all day to get samples etc, and it wasn't any hassle. I already recommend them to friends and will continue to do so. thanks !!!

The food here is great but it's not cheap. Usually the place is pretty quiet so can be good for families and they have an outside area and ample tv's to watch if the sport is on. My favourites are the thai beef salad, chilli chips and last time I had the tart. The tart wasn't as nice but was still enjoyable. Sometimes drink service up at the bar can take a while but nothing we'd walk out because of. The pub itself has lovely decor as it's new, not so good for families on weekend nights as it can get rowdy, better for a weekend lunch. A good local and our alternative to The Gate pub down at Gateways

This place does the best breakfast I've had in a long time. We take our 9 month old puppy to the dog beach then go to the Pickled Fig for breakfast. I always get the breakfast on fire on as it's so yum and includes a bit of everything. The potato cake and corn relish are my favourite, with scrambled eggs. Fresh juice tops it off. It's not cheap but the service is good, food is great and to be able to sit outside with your dog at your feet is convenient - of course the view of the park/beach doesn't hurt. Don't go here if you want a cheap breakfast. We have also been for vegetarian night and again, not cheap but boy was the food yum. It impressed my parents who are vego's and we'd go back again. There isn't much on the menu but it's enough to have you going back 3-4 times. If you're not a vego you can only pick from a few things so if you do plan on going it's best if everyone eats vego or isn't too fussy about their meat meals

We haven't eaten here twice now, once dine in and once takeaway. Inside decor is amazing, beautiful and comfortable. The food was ok but nothing I would rave about. I found the onion Bahji's, for example, a bit oily (more than normal). My main meal was yellow dahl which I thought was a bit bland. Other meals on our table included ochra (spelling?) and then a curry. The curry was lovely. The menu has a nice variety on it which is good as some of our family are vego's. Overall I would eat here again but we go here if we want something close to home, I wouldn't go here on a nice evening out with people we were trying to impress. You can't fault the service though, lovely people, very friendly and they alone make you want to go back as they are always smiling

We are locals to this restaurant but don't go to often as we find they are quite expensive and they don't change their menu that often. The quality of the food they make is fantastic which is why we do go back as I can't fault them on that. Even when we get it take-away it's still very good quality. 90% of the time the staff are great and friendly but when they aren't in a good mood you can really tell. Can get very busy at this restaurant but we've never experienced an abnormally long wait. Lacking vegetarian options, it's really either pizza or order a few side dishes to make up a main.

This used to be one of our all time favourite restaurants but lately we aren't coming home as satisfied. I LOVED the King Cobra chicken as it's very hot and spicy and always used to hit the spot. The last few times I have had it, it hasn't been very spicy at all. I have even asked to have it hot and it hasn't been any better. The service is still exceptional but yeah, not sure if maybe the head chef has changed the recipe or not but I just feel the quality isn't as good as it used to be. Compared to other restaurants the menu is also getting a bit pricey, this maybe be because of how popular it has become. Parking can be very difficult on a busy night

This restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside but the food in general is really really nice. I had Tom Yum entree and it was the best I've had because there was a big range of veges included. The spring rolls weren't so great. The mains we had (4 people) were all fantastic, we couldn't fault them, again lots of fresh crunchy vege's unlike lots of other restaurants who just have 2 or 3 different vege. What let this restaurant down the most was their lack of vegetarian meals, both my parents are vego's and whilst they loved the food there were limited options so they wouldn't go back there too many time as they'd have to have the same thing over and over. Also service was ok, nothing outstanding. Ie ordered a drink then had to ask for it again as the entrees came out before my drink (and it was just a drink to be taken out of drink fridge). All in all would certainly go back here for the food, they do take-away as well. Reasonably prices as well!
