We had a great experience with winsulation initially when we had them come in and do a large double glazed panel at the front of the house. The window looked fantastic they were transparent about their billing model and the work was done to a professional standard.

We have had winsulation come in on 2 separate occasions since for some further work. A large piece of replacing 2 sets of sliding doors and after that work come in and do the bedrooms upstairs.

Unfortunately it seems there is a disconnect between the installers and the manufacturers. Where in one case, the wrong window was manufactured for us and the installers pushed us to get it installed regardless even though it was obvious to both them and us it was in the wrong format, and on another occasion the locks for the door to the bedroom simply didn't work.

Fortunately they went to get the issues resolved once raised, but we still have issues with the downstairs doors squeaking and have found in winter the double glazing isn't having the desired effect.

We're in 2 minds about Winsulation, the products look great and on the surface they seem to run their business well, but they are just missing the finish to bring them to a 4 or higher.

Have been to Bob Jane 3 times now and were unsure if we should have gone the last time.

We have had 2 cars serviced there, our small car where we had all 4 tyres replaced with good services and our larger car where we have had 1 try replaced due to a puncture and then a subsequent rotate and align.

We were happy enough to go to Bob Jane a 2nd time after a good experience with our smaller car, but we discovered after taking the larger car into service a month after getting the rear tyre replaced due to a puncture that the wheels were not aligned properly and were all wearing.

We had assume the service people were just looking to upsell but sure enough they weren't so we figured it would be easy enough to get Bob Jane to rectify.

In attempting to explain the situation on the phone we had terrible customer service with a stubborn older woman who refused to acknowledge any fault and insisted on it being fixed for full price even though the replacement we had was on record.

It was only sometime later we got this looked at again at our last visit to Bob Jane, simply being a case of not having the time to try and find somewhere else.

They resolved the alignment issues and only charged a reduced rate compared to what was quoted which was good. But when we called for pickup and payment the staff we were met with terrible customer service with the staff member mocking my wife as she went through 3 different cards to pay each being rejected (even though all 3 were functional and the credit cards were nowhere near the limit).

Instead of acknowledging a possible fault we could not pickup the car and she was made fun of during the process.

Being exceptionally busy myself I had to take extra time out of my day to take her and the baby to pickup the car the following morning.

Would not recommend, service quality is variable and customer service is appalling/misogynistic.

As first home owners we came to learn buying a house comes with many surprises.

We realized we needed to get some taps replaced in the kitchen and bathroom and later on a fix for the upstairs toilet.

Not knowing who we could trust we spoke to the sales people at the plumbing shop and had Jabiru (a new business at the time) recommended to us.

Since then we have never looked back.

Patrick and his team have been great to work with and have helped us on multiple occasions from things such as kitchen taps to replacing overgrown pipes beneath the concrete and our previous 15 year old water heater.

I would not hesitate in recommending Jabiru to anyone looking for plumbing work. We have always been pleased with the result.
