This review is for Botanica Garden Cafe, Waverton NSW

After finding the other three cafes in Waverton to have far less than the "Wow" factor I decided to give this one a try.
The menu is varied, and offers gluten free options. I do not have a gluten free problem, but the choice of bread was between sour dough which I detest or another lovely looking bread which unfortunately had nuts in and I am allergic to them.
There was no wholegrain or brown bread available.
The staff are extremely efficient and friendly.
A lovely relaxing ambience in a garden atmosphere.
The food is freshly and beautifully prepared but overpriced for the size portion you receive. $10.00 would've been more appropriate for the meal I ordered which was a Wagyu burger.
I will go again but it is not priced for regular visits on an average family income.

This little place has been around a while but I only tried it for the first time a couple of weeks ago.
The staff are very friendly.
The menu is somewhat limited to my mind, it features sourdough bread, which is awful if you don't like it.
They don't have wholegrain bread, but they have some vegetarian dishes but little variety of meat and fish.
The dinners are very good but quite pricey.
The cake shelf is also uninspiring.
They have a lot of products made with white flour, although they are gluten free.
I did not notice any low carb meals on the menu.
The iced coffee did not had sugar free fresh cream on which I also found disappointing. It was watery and bland.
The outdoor seating area is quite nice but noisy from the train station next door.
I was also somewhat put off by the bright lights they have on outside all day.

I cannot rate this dental surgery highly enough.
My husband and I booked consultations with Dr. Jacqueline Tang, with much trepidation as I had a horrific experience with a different dental practice in the local area.
I can only say that I wish I had known about her previously.
She is very professional, gentle, caring and extremely thorough.
If only all dentists were like her.
Her support team and nurses are also a total pleasure to deal with.

This review is for Woolworths Online, Sydney NSW

verified email - 20 Nov 2013

I thought I would give Woolworths online a try as they were advertising a product I wanted to buy on "Special" and the first online order was free delivery.

This proved to be a very disappointing experience.

Instead of taking a small "holding deposit" to verify that the card you are paying with is valid, they take the entire amount for the order at point of sale.

I received an Email confirming the order, then the next day I received an Email saying that they had run out of stock for over 50% of the order I had placed, I requested no substitutions. They advised that my card would be credited with the difference "within a 3-5 days"

The order was delivered within the specified time frame, but this was the only positive aspect to the experience.
I find this method of doing business to be very unsatisfactory.
Good business practice would be to charge the card once the order has be "picked", so that the appropriate amount is charged to the card.
This is the method employed in Europe and it works, as you are not paying for something that is not in stock.

I replied to the Email I received from them which notified me that they were out of stock and I asked if they
could advise me when the product would be back in stock.
I received an "auto reply" which stated I would receive a response within 48 hours.
Even after 72 hours I did not received a response and have not received one, to date.

Their website does not have an option for Online chat, nor a dedicated customer response team to answer Emails promptly, which would improve the customer experience substantially.

The are many other companies that offer online purchasing and I shall not be buying any product from them, via their online services, in the future.

I don't live in this area and dived in to the centre on a very hot day seeking a quality iced coffee.
the cafe is clean and cool. The staff are smartly dressed and very attentive and polite.
A waitress approached me as I walked in and I ordered.
I went to sit outside and it arrived before I had even put all my shopping bags down!!
I was very impressed and the staff are so helpful and friendly. I shall make a plan to go here as much as possible!

How fortunate I am to have discovered this gem! They respond to Email inquiries, they run on time and are entirely professional. They answered my initial Email inquiry very promptly and one of the physiotherapists answered one of my Emails personally. It was very good to receive relevant information from a qualified person. They are open after office hours and they have HICAPS, which saves filling in forms to claim on your health fund or standing in queues at Medicare. You can also book a consult online. This is so really good and so convenient for the busy working professional. The Reception staff are very friendly and well presented and they provide a very professional reflection on the service. I made an appointment with Susie, who was very thorough and has a very friendly disposition. She put me completely at ease. She examined my arms and asked me questions about the cause of my injury before the treatment and she made notes of my medical history to ensure that she had full background. I liked the way that she looked for the source of the problem in order to gauge suitable treatments. She did not leave me in the room to attend to another patient or to answer a phone call. She was very attentive and caring. After the first treatment I noted a significant improvement in mobility and less pain. After only 5 treatments I have regained full mobility. After my experience of this exceptional service at CBD physio I have no hesitation in recommending them very highly and I certainly would not consider going anywhere else. These certainly are dedicated, highly trained and experienced physiotherapists

I've eaten here on many occasions over the past two years.
It's a pretty busy little place and has a casual environment.
The food is freshly prepared and of good quality and you can sit outside or inside.
Lately it has taken a bit of a downturn in service. You don't wait long for your order but the staff are disorganised and inclined to bring the wrong order to the table and they are a bit clumsy when placing food down.
They could also do with being a little more smartly dressed as their attire is a little too scruffy and casual.

This review is for Bay Tandoori, Waverton NSW

verified email - 01 Nov 2013

I have eaten at this restaurant previously and found the food to be very good.
However; this time around I decided to order a home delivery.
The website is easy to navigate. You can choose your delivery time and you also have the option of ordering mild, medium or hot on the choice of curries and as it was out first online order we received 10% discount.
I ordered 2 meat samoosas, 2 curries, (One medium and one mild), 2 naan breads and a portion of rice. I set the delivery time for 7pm and received a confirmation Email stating the content of the order the order and time of delivery.
At 6:30pm I received a call on my cell phone. A man said he was calling from Bay Tandoori and that he was outside my door and that no one was home. I explained to him that I had placed the order for delivery at 7pm but that I would be home in 5 minutes if he wanted to wait. When I arrived home there was no one outside my door but at 7pm a delivery man arrived.
Upon unpacking and eating the food it was obvious that it had been "kept warm" and re-delivered.
The Samoosas were shrivelled, rock hard and dried out inside and out.
The naan breads had been put together in the same packet. They had stuck together, were very squashed greasy and quite burnt on the underside. They bore a very close resemblance to pancakes.
Neither the samoosas or naan breads were edible.
The curries were flawless, save for the fact that one that was indicated "Medium" was extremely hot. It was more chillie than curry, so it was not enjoyable. It certainly was much more than "Medium" It would have given a volcano some stiff competition.
I wish the man had left the delivery on my doorstep as it would have been quite safe to do so.
Their prices are higher than other eateries in Waverton, the order total was around $48.00. I was very disappointed that it had just been kept warm until the correct delivery time. I would certainly eat in, at this restaurant again, but this experience has deterred me from ordering home deliveries from them in the future.

This family run business offers long operating hours and they also operate over public holidays.
Their customer service is excellent. They are helpful and friendly and if they haven't got what you want in stock they pull out all the stops to get it for you.
Highly recommended!
