By far the best physio clinic I've ever been to! I have been going here for years, and still think they're amazing. I no longer live nearby but still go as it's worth the extra drive for such quality physio sessions. On top of having fantastic physiotherapists, they offer services such as massage, podiatry, dietition, personal training, yoga, pilates, zumba, etc.

The waiting room and reception are quite small but don't let that deceive you. There are several beds sectioned off by curtains for the physio sessions, which is what I've seen at other physio clinics as well. I have tried seeing some local physios, but just haven't been impressed, and always end up coming back here. The physios at FIT (I have seen 3 there) seem to have so much more knowledge and experience, and I always feel like I'm in really good hands.

I love the pilates classes, which are small and held by a physiotherapist, who always modifies any exercises I might have trouble with. I especially like working with the reformer in the classes.

Another thing I love: they send me a reminder SMS for my physio appointments!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND these guys...
...from a very happy customer!

The thing that first drew me to this clinic was the website. Each psychologist is listed with a description of their interests and specialties. This helped me feel confident picking one suited to my needs before I even booked my first appointment.

The clinic is located on one of the admin levels of Indooroopilly shopping Centre, and there are no windows looking in to the waiting room from the outside hallway, so it is quite private. The waiting room is really lovely, with a purple and green floral theme, magazines to read, and toys for children to play with in the corner.

I have always felt safe to speak in my past sessions and really well listened to. I love that they send you a reminder SMS the day before your appointment!

Reception will process any Medicare claims (ie. from a Mental Health Care Plan), but does not process health insurance for you, so you will need to forward the receipt to your health insurance provider and make the claim yourself.

The only downside is that spots get booked up pretty quick, so you need to make regular appointments in advance.

I had an eye test performed here and was extremely pleased with the customer service. The optometrist was very friendly and knowledgeable. She gave me some really good advice about managing my dry eye syndrome. She also gave me a referral to see a particular dry eye specialist if I wanted to pursue that avenue in the future. I have never had an optometrist been so knowledgeable and helpful. I was very impressed!

I love popping in here to treat myself before doing the grocery shopping. I particularly like the pear and ricotta tarts. The interior is quite spacious and air-conditioned (never feels too busy or cramped), and there is also plenty of room outside under-cover if you prefer to be outdoors. I've never had a bad experience with any of my orders, and will keep coming back.

I bought some spectacles recently and was very disappointed with the customer service. The entire time I tried on spectacle frames, the guy stood a metre from me watching me, virtually hovering over my shoulder. It was very uncomfortable, off-putting and rude. In particular, I was disappointed with the very poor communication. For starters, they didn't ask me if I had Extras insurance during payment (and I forgot), so I paid in full. This is usually a standard question.

I was told it would "probably be two days" as an estimate. Unfortunately they didn't think it was necessary to actually call me to let me know they were ready, so I ended up waiting a few more days before chasing them up, only to be told my order had been ready for quite a while. Not even an apology. They expected me to drop in after two days in the hopes my order 'might' be ready? This is completely unacceptable. I have never had an optometrist not call to let me know my glasses were ready for pick-up. I recommend any future customers ask to be called when their order is ready.

I will at least commend this optometrist store on their very quick turnaround and value for money.

This is our favourite place to choose when we went to spoil ourselves and eat out or get takeaway.

When eating in, I've always had good service, and like the nice, clean, modern feel to the restaurant. I prefer takeaway orders though, because I can keep the remainder for dinner the next night. (Yum!)

I love the vegetarian options on the menu and the mango lassi, and my partner loves the chicken madras.

Definite upsides for this medical centre are its really convenient location at Calamvale Market Place, its open Saturday mornings, and the interior is quite new and modern. It's a very comfortable waiting room. It's an appointment only practice but waiting room times are still a bit long and once I'm in with a doctor I feel rushed to get in and out, though many medical practices are probably similar. You have a choice of doctors that do or don't bulk bill which is a plus.

I have had some problems with this practice myself. I spent months trying to make an appointment with their asthma specialist, and they eventually never got back to me. And I stopped trusting the doctor I was seeing after some bad medication advice. My partner also had a negative experience there getting a mole removed.

Apart from the asthma clinic debacle, my negative experiences were all with one doctor, so I am in no way putting down the other doctors in the clinic. I saw one of the other doctors a few times and she was great, I just couldn't keep seeing her because she wasn't one of the bulk-billing doctors unfortunately.
