About 8 months ago I was told by Optus iTech, that I should throw my iPhone3gs in the bin as it could not be fixed. How wrong were they! Turns out all it needed was a new screen. Very professional service and fixed my iPhone quickly in front of me. I recommend to everyone who has an iDevice issue to see The iPhone Guy. Only cost my $60 to fix, wish I had of known about him sooner!
