We used Peter Sadler to move our furniture into taxi boxes (a last minute booking) and would not recommend them.

When we went to unpack the storage boxes it was clear that things had been packed in a way that would cause damage i.e. timber shelving had been slid along the gritty floor of the storage box with nothing to protect them. A metal rod was placed against our timber bed head in a position that was directly scraping/scratching against it etc. Unsurprisingly, there was significant damage to all the couch shelves, and our bed head. When I contacted the company, I did not receive a reply for six weeks. After chasing them up I received a brief email telling me that damage to items packed into mobile storage containers would not be covered under any circumstances as per their terms and conditions. I have since tried to discuss this further by phone and email with no response for the past two months.

I would be very careful booking with this company, and if you are using mobile storage boxes I would strongly recommend not using them. The lack of response from the company or any sort of acknowledgement of fault is also upsetting, given the extent of the damage.
