I really appreciated the effort put into both the food and the setting. The old synagogue building looks beautiful, with its high ceilings, soft lighting and hanging lanterns creating a special atmosphere. The Southeast Asian sharing plates were full of flavour, and the bang bang cauliflower was a particular favourite. The feed me option was incredibly generous, so come hungry! The staff were lovely, took the time to explain the dishes and were considerate of dietary requirements. Thank you for making the experience so enjoyable.

I liked how comfortable and homely this cafe feels, with a mix of regular tables, cosy armchairs and a cushioned window bench. It's a nice place to take a break if you're around the hospital area, especially when you want somewhere to sit without feeling rushed. It gets busy around lunchtime, but our food arrived faster than expected. The menu has plenty of options, from generous sandwiches and sushi to curries and cakes, and the prices are reasonable compared with eating inside the hospital. The staff were friendly and happy to accommodate requests, and the coffee was good too. I'd happily stop by again for a meal or a quick coffee.

I was impressed by the variety available at Spice Wagon. I picked up the Chilli Guajillo Dried, Cinnamon Premium (True Ceylon) Ground, and Tony Chachere’s Original Creole Spice, and it was nice to find such a good mix of everyday staples and more distinctive ingredients in one place.
The selection feels well put together, especially if you enjoy cooking different cuisines and want to experiment with flavours. I also liked that there are plenty of options beyond the usual supermarket spices, including different chillies, herbs, seasonings, and specialty ingredients. Everything was straightforward to browse, and I’ll definitely be checking out some of the other products next time.
