After seeing all the great reviews for Bec on Womow I made an appointment 6 weeks ago after yet, another disastrous hair cut. Bec did such a great job in fixing it that it saved me from having to walk around with a paper bag over my head. I then went back to get my colour done and am amazed that finally, without having to really describe what I wanted, Bec was able to figure it out and do an amazing job. It's the first time in 3 years that I have been happy with a colour. I have paid double the amount in the past and it did not even bare comparison. Do yourselves a favour, make the trip to Carlton North, it will be worth the trip. I am just happy I found a great hairdresser at last and will stick with Bec.

My hair didn't look too good and after reading the reviews in WOMOW and knowing people that have been to the salon and seeing how good their hair looked, I decided to give it a go. Rima did a great job on my hair but found it too expensive. My hair is short so I can't justify spending $320 on a cut an colour. I won't go back there for that reason.

I have taken my son 3 times now and would never again take him anywhere else. These guys are brilliant. A few other mums have been taking their sons now after I recommended them and they are also happy to continue using them. The $10 price is fantastic.

The food was average and overpriced for a Turkish Restaurant. My husband and I had the set menu for $27 each. There was not much meat just 2 kebabs each and some shaved meat with a terrible tasting sauce on top which I coulden't stomach. The worst bit was the dessert, it was meant for 2 people but all we got was one small Turkish delight square and one stale small baklava type biscuit. Will stick to the better known Turkish restaurants from now on. My experience was very disappointing and I'm not happy at having spent $70 incl. drinks for a very unsatisfactory meal.

After searching high and low for a good hairdresser I can't believe my sheer luck at finding Susanah's. Everything about my experience was fantastic from the minute I walked in the door looking like something the cat dragged in, to walking out looking like the cat who ate the cream. Mary, who did my hair was brilliant. She took the time to tell me what my hair needed, was spot on, and did an excellent job. The price was so cheap which only topped off my positive experience, $120 for regrowth, half head of foils, cut and blow-wave. I'm so happy that my search (after many years) is over, I will not be going anywhere else. If you live far, it is worth the trip.

This place has the best cakes in Melbourne at the cheapest prices. I buy all my special occasion cakes here not only for the price but for the quality. I recently bought a Christening cake there where I only paid $92 where everywhere else was quoting me $200 for the same thing. When the cake was eaten I had at least half the party who ate it come up to me to tell me how good it tasted.

The lady who owns this shop is always polite, cheerful and happy. Everytime my sons are with me she offers them a roll. The quality of the bread and buns is excellent.

This place has the best meat I have ever tasted. It is always tender and very fresh. The prices are cheap and the place is so clean you could eat off the floor. The service is fantastic and the people that work there are always smiling.

This cafe just pumps out coffees and other beverages. Not only is the coffee fantastic but it is cheap, at only $2 a coffee. It is run by a father and his sons and it has a pleasant family feel.

I didn't actually get to dine. I had split the bill tokens last year for my husband and I to use on our anniversary. I called the restaurant and make a booking for a Sunday night at 5.30pm and told them I had the split the bill tokens, they said it was fine. When we got there, there was nobody in the restaurant but when I told the waiter I had the split the bill he said he'd check my booking. He came back and said there was nothing listed next to my name about the split the bill and that we coulden't use them because there was not enough of us. I argued that it was not my fault the person who took the booking didn't write it down and what was the big deal, it was 5.30pm and nobody was there anyway, we still would have spent at least 60 or 70 dollars. He woulden't budge and we walked out. I'm writing this review because I noted that this restaurant is again listed in the split the bill list.
