MISTAKES IN INSTALLATION BOOKING, AND DIFFICULT TO REFUND. AVOID.

Purchased a Samsung aircon. The initial scheduled date was 04/01/2021 as I was advised by sales that 04/01/2021 is the available date for installation. However, the contractor called me on the morning of 04/01/2021 informing he is on leave and the next available slot is 13/01/2021.

Since I have an infant in the bedroom I wish to install it asap to avoid upcoming heat, so I will seek a licensed contractor by myself, hence requesting cancellation of installation service booked and a refund of $764 for the service part.

It did not go through. 5 phone calls were made. All conversations were eventually transferred to the outlet and the answer was always "checking with the banking team".

On the 13th day after requesting for the refund, still not response and I have to call head quarter and support lines. And now the outlet told me to provide banking details (screenshot of BSB and account number). I got a feeling they were just trying to make the refund difficult, imagining you are asking for refund (even for a virtual service which did not occur) at other places with similar situation.

In the end I have to visit this store in person (also this is a resolution figured out by myself).

Maybe the management should be considering why so many mistakes are made in series and the overall rating of this outlet is so low (3.4 out of 5). I should have done the investigation before stepping into this outlet. Or maybe they don't care - that can explain everything.

The "good" guys? Come on... these people are not good in this business. The only 2 successful things they have done are to secure the location and use the name as illusion. I would suggest only going to their outlet to try out appliance and order online from other retailers.

Been to this shop once in Dec 2021. It is interesting that they are selective on customers. If you are from mainland China and speak Mandarin, be prepared for a harsh, unfriendly and impolite service. Not sure what else is on the reject list so please feel free to try out.
