A fantastic experience for us who are not Tech savvy. William was knowledgeable and showed us incredible customer service and explained the product and showed great patience. We would thoroughly recommend his services.

Hey Guys,
It was one of the best shop to buy electronic and electrical. I bought few stuff from here. The thing matters is about who's your Salesperson, there is a guy named ELLAY is awesome and served really good, which overshadowed my last experience with lady named VANDDNA, who is only interested in selling wrong products.

They really are the good guys... Staff are amazing. I was lucky to have met Frank who asked all the right questions, had a great sense of humour and gave me a great price on a 75 inch tv. Also thanks to Georgia who answered the phone when I changed my delivery day. 5 stars for quality, service and value. Will highly recommend and I look forward to visiting again.

MISTAKES IN INSTALLATION BOOKING, AND DIFFICULT TO REFUND. AVOID.

Purchased a Samsung aircon. The initial scheduled date was 04/01/2021 as I was advised by sales that 04/01/2021 is the available date for installation. However, the contractor called me on the morning of 04/01/2021 informing he is on leave and the next available slot is 13/01/2021.

Since I have an infant in the bedroom I wish to install it asap to avoid upcoming heat, so I will seek a licensed contractor by myself, hence requesting cancellation of installation service booked and a refund of $764 for the service part.

It did not go through. 5 phone calls were made. All conversations were eventually transferred to the outlet and the answer was always "checking with the banking team".

On the 13th day after requesting for the refund, still not response and I have to call head quarter and support lines. And now the outlet told me to provide banking details (screenshot of BSB and account number). I got a feeling they were just trying to make the refund difficult, imagining you are asking for refund (even for a virtual service which did not occur) at other places with similar situation.

In the end I have to visit this store in person (also this is a resolution figured out by myself).

Maybe the management should be considering why so many mistakes are made in series and the overall rating of this outlet is so low (3.4 out of 5). I should have done the investigation before stepping into this outlet. Or maybe they don't care - that can explain everything.

The "good" guys? Come on... these people are not good in this business. The only 2 successful things they have done are to secure the location and use the name as illusion. I would suggest only going to their outlet to try out appliance and order online from other retailers.

I did not have to wait long, even though it was during the EOFY tax time saving, so as I had purchased my product online, and showed all the relevant information to Brigid F, she was extremely attentive and ensures she gets it right the first and every time. I was totally amazed by the operational equipment used, as the phone rang to inform her that my product was ready, she didn't even need to move from her area. Well done for having such conscientious staff, as I previously purchased a Philips Airfryer and that too was a breeze. I'm still waiting to use my concierge service, so hopefully that kicks into play during the World Cup.

I have been back, as my concierge service, did indeed kick into play during the world cup, this time there was a mad rush as I arrived on the final day of the EOFY clearance. However, after speaking with Shelly, this was again a simple wait and pick up approach, ensuring that it was right the first and every time. Well done.

I collected a couple of items for Christmas and this time, the C&C point was in the centre area of the store, this was not easy to locate, so it would have been good if there were signs to indicate where the collection/payment had moved. However, as I had multiple items, this was made so much more simpler when Shelly indicated to me that I could collect this at the pick up point in the garage. A couple of the guys who are located in this area were efficient and Jamie helped me put the items into my boot. Nice work.

I have recently moved to Melbourne from Overseas and had to furnish a brand new apartment so i needed every thing .
i looked up the internet and found that the good guys has the best offers and discounts in the market , so i decided to give them a visit , and indeed that was very good experience , the sales guy was very helpful and funny guy and enlightened me about many features that i didn't it exist in a washing machine for example , that made me made the right decision with the best possible price in the market ,
i recommend TheGoodGuys for every one who is going to buy electronic appliances .
PS: I bought a washing Machine and a Fridge

Never every go to Good Guys..

They have the worst customer service and their extended warranty (Horizon) is a sham.

You are good to them till the time you are buying new products. Once the product goes bad and is under warranty then they are pain in the back.

Asking customer to contact the company or their seller. I had to really track down where they buy goods from and contact Good Guys supplier for replacement.

Customer Service staff is quite rude..
I am never ever buying from Good Guys and recommend everyone to do the same.

During the Boxing Day sale, I bought myself a Ergoport Electrolux Vacuum Cleaner. It was on super sale and I tried it out at the testing area. Place is packed but always a sales person came around to help out.

However I must point out that the Dyson sales-woman was rather rude and unhelpful. She was only interested to sell her Dyson products and bad mouthed about other brands products. Needs to be improved even though she works inside Good Guys area. Makes me think twice now even if I want to get a Dyson product.

Just bought a new Smart TV from here. Very friendly and helpful service from the salesman who attended to us. Price quoted was the best compared to other major retailers. Still, he told us to shop around first just in case we could find a better offer. Really like his approach as he wasn't being pushy even though his price was already the best!
