We engaged Noble Photography for our wedding photos. I cannot stress how important it is to find a good photographer for the big day as they partly run the day for you!
Andrew was professional and has a great personality which certainly helps as you're literally spending the whole day together. We couldn't have been happier with how the whole day went and within a couple of weeks, we had already received our photos ready to choose for the album. We are yet to run through them but if they are anything like our pre-wedding photos, I'm sure they'll be brilliant. However, a word of warning..... Some guests may ask who the good looking photographer is and revert their attention to him instead!!
Would highly recommend!

Dear fellow consumers,
We engaged Instant Catering to provide refreshments after our wedding ceremony. We received a phone call approx. 2 weeks before our wedding to confirm this order which was fully paid upfront. However, when our big day arrived, nothing was received. No calls in advance to warn us of cancellation to allow us to make alternate arrangements, no warnings to advise us they were running late….. absolutely nothing. We made numerous calls to them on the day, only to be greeted with a voicemail message.
We had the embarrassing task of directing all our guests into an empty hall with no food…
Approximately a week after our event, we received an email to advise our order had been refunded. Our reaction was one of pure rage but we wanted to give Instant Catering an opportunity to as sometimes uncontrollable circumstances do occur. We didn't even receive the courtesy of a phone call or explanation. We finally made contact with Instant Catering through calling Going Gourmet (essentially the same business, run by the same people but with the full waiter service). They apologised and explained the order was simply ‘missed.'
In our anger we demanded compensation, but soon realised that nothing they could offer would change the amount of embarrassment and stress that was caused that day and having to turn away 200 guests. A wedding day is the most important day in the lives of many people and these things should not happen, a fact that seemed to have been missed by Instant Catering. We were advised that goods were not delivered, so we have received a refund and somehow we should be happy? An analogy was even given with a plumber for example, may not even turn up on a given day and may attend at a time that suits them. I'm sorry but there are notable differences!
1. A plumber does not take full payment upfront
2. A plumber does not promise to deliver on a certain time and day.
3. If you are benchmarking your business with plumbers then I have grave concerns on the viability of your business. What good is it to cater to an empty hall with no people at a time that suits you? Quite a ridiculous analogy isn't it?
You are a catering business and it does not matter how tasty or how great in value your food is. If customers do not have trust in you, everything else becomes irrelevant.
If you do choose to engage Instant Catering, I certainly hope you are not treated with the same disdain we were. My advice is to confirm, double confirm and triple confirm if you can to ensure you are not faced with the same disaster as us. I certainly hope Instant Catering have put in the necessary procedures to ensure this never happens again, although I have serious reservations they have given their continual insistence there is nothing wrong with their procedures.
