Good takeaway Chinese. The service is friendly - but suggest that you phone ahead otherwise it can be a very long wait!
If you have never been and you have relatives visiting then this is a great place to take them. There is a huge buffet to meet everyone's needs - my favourite is the desert (lots of little cakes and treats). The "entertainment" is the same each time - bell ringing featuring strongly - and it gets a bit tiring if you have sat through it several times. Good to visit at Xmas as Santa makes an appearance
Credo used to be spectacular but in recent years it has dropped in my estimation and I would say it is only excellent now. The food is well presented and the menu is varied and changes frequently. The wine menu is excellent and the service is very good. Still one of my favourites.
This is a reasonable place to eat but it is nothing special. If you can't be bothered driving to Olinda or some other destination that has much better restaurants then it is OK, but not a place that I would recommend for a special occasion. The table next to the fire is nice in winter!
This is the best Bottle shop in Horsham. They stock a wide variety of items and they have a huge walk-in that makes for a pleasant summer browse. They also stock locally produced wine and are very knowledgeable.
The best pies for miles around! There is a lot of variety so everyone gets to pick something they like and they are always hot. The place is kept very clean especially when you consider how many people visit. My only criticism is that they are not always open when I visit!
This is not your average BBQ Galore store. The service is what you would expect in country Victoria - friendly and helpful. These people always go out of their way to greet us like a close relative even though we only visit about once every 6 months to get a new gas bottle.
This is the place to go for everything cheap! If you want cheap containers, tools, household goods, toys, cards, haberdashery etc then this is the place to go. It is like a $2 shop, but much better!
Cafeteria like surroundings but the food is reasonably good - depending upon the dish. If you like mild dishes then you would like this a lot. For those who like it spicy I would recommend the Handi Gosht.
The Cow cocky is our favourite as it has a Bolognese base rather than the normal tomato. The choice is basic but what you would expect from a Pizza place. The garden salad is also good if you are looking to buy a large to share and want a healthier choice.
Approximate cost: $8
