I love this place. It's known interstate, believe it or not! Met some people on the mainland, and we got to chatting, and we said we lived out near Exeter, which at the time, we did. First reaction? "Oh, Exeter Pies - Send us some! YUM!"

The Bacon and egg is my favorite, though they have many other delicious flavours - choosing what to get is alsways so hard! They also have a really good range of bread, pastries, biscuits.. everything you'd expect from a good bakery. (Hell, it's been around since 1906!)

Get in around 7am when they open (it does look closed at times though!), and really enjoy a properly fresh pie, that's been out of the bake oven for about 5 minutes. Truly delicious.

Also great to cozy up to the fire in the winter, with a big mug of coffee and a pastry of two! It has a very homelike feel, which is very welcome.

The bad - Because it's so popular, it's generally quite busy, and they don't take EFTPOS - Cash only. Also, parking can be annoying also, again, because of popularity.

Approximate cost: $3.50

Went there for the first time today - been meaning to check it out for a while, and glad that I did! Both the people that I talked to were VERY knowledgeable, and even though I bought nothing, were very willing to help me, and at the same time let me browse in peace.

They showed me things on the computer (Linux based) that I didn't know about, in a friendly and easy to understand manner, and were absolutley full of information!

Will definitely be back there in the future.
