Was thrilled with our first visit so was sorely disappointed on our second. The food was wonderful, all hail the chef. But the service was atrocious. We did arrive a bit late, I guess but 8.10pm on a Saturday night when they say open till late didn't seem unreasonable to us. It was a pretty quiet night for the staff & they were obviously wanting to go home early & then we showed up. It was made pretty obvious by our overly patronising waiter that we weren't welcome. If my hubby hadn't been hanging out for another of their steaks, we would have just walked out. Really not good enough & the kids don't want to go back again. A real shame.

The food is always great at Top 1 but I also had excellent customer service last night. I accidentally handed over 2x $50 notes to pay. I was looking down at my purse & hadn't realized, it would have been so easy for him to pocket the money (I would have assumed hubby had raided me) but the gentleman made sure I got the extra back. Thanks Top 1, your honesty is refreshing in this day & age.
