I have been getting my hair cut and styled from the team at Made Gorgeous since before they went to Fitzroy.
When living in South Australia- I made a special trip back to Melbourne (after a devastating experience and cut in SA) so these trusty ladies could fix my tragic "do"- they didnt let me down - life savers!!!
Jodie and Nicole and their lovely team at Made Gorgeous are so happy and cheery all the time that you can tell that they love what they are doing.
Knowing that the girls are always learning about all the latest trends and new technologies is a breath of fresh air. They have great products to buy and support local business and charities- love this!!!!!
The salon itself it bright and fresh and an added bonus is the coffee I am offered when I'm sitting in that chair getting pampered.
The ladies are also local- ask them where a good place to eat is and they'll tell ya.
The stylists always listen to your do's and dont's and cater for these exactly- but if you dont know ask them, they are so experienced that they can tell you what will suit you, what is easy etc.
The beauty therapist is just as lovely and experienced in her profession and knows all the great products- she finally helped my grow nails long.
All in all the many experiences I have had in this place have been great and I have left every time with a new found confidence in myself.
Keep up the fantastic work ladies. Cant wait to see all your beautiful smiling faces in the new year- it has been way too long!!!

This company is a god send. I believe it is a family run business and has been around forever- I'm sorry I didnt find them sooner!!!
I am absolutely loving my new flyscreen windows and security front door, they allow all that cool breeze through and the bugs out....cant wait to see my next electricity bill and see how much I've saved from not needing my air-con and fans running throughout the night anymore.
I would also like to thank the team at Doorite Screens from my beloved pooch that now can come and go from inside the house as he pleases due to his new doggie door in our back door, I would assume my neighbours also thank you as they dont have to hear my pooch barking to come in.
Doorite Screens offers flyscreen windows and doors in a wide variety of screen, security and colour types.
The staff here, from the girl who answered the phone, the gentleman who came and measured my windows and doors and the woman who came and installed my new screens, are all so very polite and seem to go that little extra mile to cater to their customers needs/wants.
The cost is very reasonable in my opinion from all the research and quotes I have been given.
A real bonus that I like here is as I mentioned above that it is a family ran business and the products are made to order in the factory. They have a huge range is display doors in the show room with staff that really know their product.
Super happy with everything this company offered and showed me- keep up the good work guys......

I have 2 dogs that I refer to as my "fur-babies" and used to use a dog grooming service that came to my house for my 10 year old miniature poodle X shih-Tzu dog. I couldnt tell you how stressed my other dog would get when she could hear her brother being washed and clipped outside our house. This behaviour then made me so stressed and I used to leave it as long as possible between clips so my baby girl and I didnt have to be so stressed out, this meant (and I'm a tad ashamed to say it) that my old boy didnt look, feel or smell the best at times. He got so hot over summer, looked messy and his face used to smell.
Ever since I received a leaflet in my letterbox for DogTown Grooming and used them, my life has been stress free when it comes time for grooming. My old boy is now kept beautiful, clean, comfortable and smells like a well looked after dog should...
DogTown Grooming is a small business catering for only a limited amount of dogs at a time and you can see that the women that run DogTown are so passionate about dogs and their profession themselves. The women are friendly and do such a fabulous job. I have never been disappointed in their results.
The cost is also very reasonable - cheaper than the previous company I used in the past.
I am a very busy person myself and the bonus you get with DogTown is friendly text reminders for when your pooch is due for their next clip.
I use their service regularly for full grooms (wash, clip, nails, ears) and tidy ups in between full grooms on my old boy, and now use them for a wash on my young lady. Both my dogs walk into DogTown Grooming without any hesitation and are greeted by smiling loving groomers!
I love knowing that my pooches are well looked after and not caged whilst at their groomers and knowing that the women there share my passion for my fur-babies really puts me at ease.
Thank you ladies from the bottom of mine and my babies hearts, we are all over the moon that we finally found you and a huge two thumbs up for your professionalism, honesty and fantastic work you do.......
