In the menu, amongst all things Chinese, two or three Thai dishes and then, lo behold, Nasi Goreng - Indonesian fried rice.

But the taste is still leaning towards that Yangzhou Caofan | 揚州炒飯. Nothing exciting to write things home, i.e. folks in Tegal and beyond. I decided to take some sample of Kecap Manis | Sweet Indonesian Soya Sauce and instruct the chef to change the way of the nasi goreng.

Half way through, two portions of Nasi Goreng, stir in two tablespoons of this kecap manis. Alas, I still forgot to ask him to scramble one chicken egg as well. I did ask for one sunny-side-up egg to garnish. Then I get a bag of krupuks on display. Add few pieces to accompany the dish. Voila! Nasi goreng spesial | Special Fried Rice, available 7 day a week in Beaudesert. Especially, when you kind of wanting to go to Bali but still waiting for that cheap flight to come by again.

Approximate cost: $12.95
