Paul and the staff at Antipasto are really helpful. They have a great range of smallgoods (best salami I've been able to find), excellent cheese selection, dips etc. They are also my 'go to' place for any specialty foods like anchovies, verjuice, special mustards, vinegars, pastas etc. They sell yummy ciabatta, have a great selection of hot and cold food, and also do take home quiches, pastas and lasagne. Brilliant!
The staff at Red Dog are very helpful, sorting through clothes to find something that suits your shape and colouring. They won't sell you anything that looks rubbish! They have a great range, and with lots of turnover there's always something new. Funky jewellery, hair clips and Catherine Manuell bags and purses.
Shane and Monica have been cutting and colouring my hear for years now and they are sensational. All the staff are lovely, and I've only ever seen great cuts and colours at this salon. Highly recommended!
I've spent a lot of money at this shop over the years - and it's pricey, but I'd always been happy until recently. I bought a $200 pair of Wonders shoes (supposed to be v comfortable), but after 4 hours of wear had a large sore on my foot. Took the shoes back to the shop where the store attendant was trying to be helpful. The owner, Geoff, interrupted and was incredibly rude, yelling at me, saying "we're not fitting specialists" and being very very aggressive. I will never shop there again, and strongly recommend that anyone who can find the same product elsewhere go elsewhere. The owner of this shop should leave client interaction to others as he has no concept of what good customer service is.
Approximate cost: $200
