I called gliderol at Holden Hill South Australia to book in to have a battery back up install for my roller door, my garage door is the only access into the garage, the company that originally installed my roller door ( allstyle garage doors, pooraka) where supposed to include the battery back up but never did,so I had a date booked had to wait 2 weeks for the next available time which was 28th February, on the day of my appointment I was supposed to get a call from the installer to let me know what time he Waa coming I had requested a morning appointment because I had a 1215 appointment, I didn't get a phone call from anyone, I ended up calling gliderol and was told that the battery back up wasn't there the other parts where there but not the battery back up, so they re ordered the battery back up, I was also told there's another way I could go which was manual over ride which the woman told me was $157 battery back up is $500 including installation, I was then booked in for the following week today 5th of march, I didn't receive any confirmation text yesterday so I called gliderol Holden Hill and they confirmed my appointment and again told me the installer would call me on the day between 8,-9 am with the time, no one called me so at 10.30 I called gliderol Holden Hill to be told no one is available today to come out to install my either battery back up or the manual over ride,which is what I had decided to go with, the woman I spoke to Helen in the service department was very rude she continuously spoke over me when I was trying to talk she had previously told me the manual over ride was $157 but failed to tell me that didn't include installation and gst which would be a total cost of $360, she continued to speak over me wouldn't let me talk, I asked if I could have some discount for compensation due to what has happened now twice with them coming to install their products and she said "no" I then asked to speak to the manager was put on hold after 5 minutes Helen came back told me the manager was on another call and would call me back but at the time of writing this they haven't called me back, very bad customer service all together I don't recommend using gliderol I wish I had never got their roller door to begin with, bad customer service and unprofessional staff
